Tremont Lodge & Resort, hotel in Tuckaleechee

Located in Townsend in the Tennessee Region, 23 mi from Gatlinburg, Tremont Lodge & Resort features a two seasonal outdoor pools, a seasonal indoor heated pool and a hot tub.

The only suggestion I have that could possibly make tremont better would be that the beds be in the room with the ac. I noticed some were but ours wasn’t. I booked a suite that was pet friendly just in case we had to bring our fur baby but we didn’t.

Tuckaleechee/Townsend area was beautiful, had a good visitor...

Tuckaleechee/Townsend area was beautiful, had a good visitor center, has some good restaurants, but some eating establishments were closed. The level of the river was too low for tubing or kayaking. Swimming in the river was cool and refreshing. The Heritage Center and Railroad Museum was informative and interesting. The gift shops were attractive and cute, but some were closed. Cades Cove was fantastically beautiful with historical buildings and some bear sightings. Very little traffic in Townsend. The best restaurant was the Trailhead Steak and Trout on Hwy 321. Need reservation.
