This place is a piece of heaven on earth! The facility features self check-in, and we were fully informed about how to get there and what to expect before arrival. The accommodation is great, neat, clean, and has all the amenities you need, including the fridge and microwave. The owners offer the possibility of breakfast if you book in advance. The view from our window was excellent, with deers grazing on the front lawn at night and the Bryce Canyon visible from the terrace. I wish we had planned to stay there for longer. This is truly the place where you can relax after a busy trekking day in Bryce or just chill out away from civilisation. Highly recommended!

Great location to catch shuttles to Bryce Canyon National Park. Good breakfast and a number of good dinner options or buy food from general store and heat in microwave.

Very small town, nothing much here at all - the big draw is Bryce Canyon Nat'l Park, which is a short drive away. We were only here three days to visit the park, so it wasn't that bad. The price of the room was the big draw; we could have stayed closer to the park but at twice the price. The idea of our own cabin was appealing. Three or four little restaurants in town. The place is clean and quiet and everyone we ran into was pleasant. Bring a book or iPad or something for your evenings.

Although a lot of the shops and restaurants were closed for the season. Everyone seemed to be very friendly and the pizza place we ate at was very good.
Clark's store has everything you need for hiking, dinner or a quick snack. Really good coffee

Such a cute little quaint town.
Such a cute little quaint town. There isn't much, but it's great. A few little quaint restaurants, and a gas station, and it's just adorable. Highly recommend starting at Bryce Valley Lodging, mini cabins, little personal adorable ones! You won't be disappointed! Great fun.

Tropic was just a short drive to Bryce Canyon and all the hiking. We enjoyed the coffee shop nearby (Bryce Canyon Coffee) and the restaurant that had live music (Showdowns Restaurant) in the evenings! We were there in early May 2023 and the weather was perfect, 35 to 45 degrees in the morning and 80's at the hottest.

Tropic is a great town being about 20 minutes from Bryce Canyon. My partner and I stayed at Bryce Canyon Log Cabins. With many other activities in the area such as ATVs or electric bicycles, Bryce Wildlife Outfitters is the place to go for ATVing. For Dinner I’d recommend Cowboys Smokehouse Cafe and Arriba Mexican Grill. For coffee we went to Bryce Canyon Coffee Co. Inside the park there is dining at Bryce Canyon Lodge, we ate at the buffet for breakfast.

Spent 1 night here as a stop over.
Spent 1 night here as a stop over. Our accommodation was fine but Tropic itself is limited and not helped by the strictly enforced Utah rule of not having a beer without food. In the restaurant this was very odd and we couldn't have a second beer because we hadn't ordered enough food!
This was one of our favourite accommodations on our 3 weeks trip. We loved our little rustic cabin with the garden behind. The restaurant with live music was very nice. Sitting at the campfire and grill some Marshmallows at night was the best! Linda did a fantastic job at the reception and even gave us a tipp for a Rodeo event nearby. Would definitely come again!
Very nice property. Emily and Joe were the perfect hosts, they offered a freshly cooked and delicious breakfast. Quiet location, good to explore the Bryce Canyon and Kodachrome Basin. Conveniently located on Scenic Byway 12.
The nearby town of Tropic provides basic necessities and has some very nice restaurants.
A fun place to stay near Bryce Canyon. Crazy huge wooden bed and great shower. Coffee a nice touch too.
We had a great pizza at the Pizza Place over the road.
