The breakfast is always wonderful and filling. The rooms are normal size and beds are comfortable. The pool was so much fun and it they changed it to a salt water pool since the last time we stayed there. I highly recommend staying here!

We loved everything about this rental. Every room was impeccably clean and unique. The outdoor space behind the house is very large and relaxing. I would definitely re-book this place again and again and again!!

Theresa is delightful. The upstairs apartment has lots of space to hangout. Nothing fancy, but very functional. AC worked great. The host is very friendly and helpful. Has lots to share about history of the area. Location to Main Street makes it easy to walk around town.

When given a chance come to Trinidad lake State Park. Beautiful lake, nice camping areas, and often you'll be the only one there.
Trinidad is a very interesting town with nice people and you can always find something to do.

Trinadad was perfect for staying in a storm as the pass had been closed to get to the NM border. We were located by a Walmart and restaurants which was very convenient. The views were beautiful, and the roads were taken care of almost immediately!

My wife and I were traveling from Dallas to Grand Junction.
My wife and I were traveling from Dallas to Grand Junction. Trinidad and Amarillo are the half-way points for us on these trips, so instead of driving the extra 4 hours to get to Amarillo, we booked a room at this La Quinta just outside of Trinidad. It was the best decision I have made on a trip! Booking.com made it real easy to choose and I think this review will help you make that good decision too! Well worth the price and location!

We were just passing through Trinidad. We lucked out by driving up to this hotel with no reservation. It was a very cozy, exceptionally clean and very stylish for a low price. We drive a large rig but parking wasn’t a problem. There was a Walmart next door which was very convenient!

Trinidad is a great town with much to see and do. It's especially fun for families during the holidays. It's very easy to get around. The Sunset Grill is one of the best places to eat. The town is surrounded with beautiful mountain scenery. We will definitely return!

There are some really fantastic sites around here, with the San Luis Valley just over the mountain... Hwy 12 up through the mountains to Cuchara and La Veta provides an wide range of scenery, rock formations and climbing mountains... little communities interspersed along the route... and out of there further west is the Great Sand Dunes, a spectacular site!!! Great place to take a few days off in, to goof off!!!
the hotel is near downtown and the highway, but it does not show up on Google maps and so it's impossible to find. I called the hotel to ask about their location after driving around for an hour and they were unable to tell me where they are located. There are other much easier to find hotels in Trinidad that are cleaner, nicer, and have staff that is kind.
Very nice, friendly stuff! Family atmosphere. A very nice breakfast freshly prepared by a professional and very friendly cook. Everything really clean and in a very good condition. When travelling via Trinidad, it’s a really great option!
Location was fine and they had room which wasn’t true of nearby hotels. The staff were very friendly and the breakfast was pretty good considering the price of the room.
