We stayed in the tide pool room & had incredible panoramic views of the ocean. The host (Tyler) was very gracious, kind & attentive. The breakfasts he made were quite delicious. And it wasn't far from majestic redwoods.

Trinidad is a small community (no fast food, movie theater, it's about nature's beauty). We loved the nearby parks with giant Redwoods, sitting by the ocean (it's cool wear long sleeves), enjoyed watching the ocean from one of the Inn's nice decks with a glass of wine.

Trinidad is a very cute seaside town in Humboldt County. There are a few beaches to choose from, some cute gift stores, places to eat, a grocery store and easy access to the surrounding area. The Hangtown Fry from Seascape Restaurant on the pier has changed my life!!

After a trip up to the redwoods we had more daylight and decided to go to the Trinidad beach. We hiked up the hill from the beach. What glorious birdseye views of the beach, as well as the Pacific Ocean. Its a bit of a incline to do, but well worth it.

We stayed at one of the many inns at Patrick's Point, but went to Trinidad and to McKinleyville for dining. There is a lot to do in the area if you like nature, barking seals to redwoods, where do you start? Local flavor and general vibe in the area is very nice as we saw it.

I lived and worked in Trinidad/Big Lagoon in my twenties (I'm 65 now). I am amazed by the beauty every time I return. Great beaches for walking and agate hunting -- swimming is reserved for the hardy.
Great hiking and wonderful beach access at Trinidad State Beach and in Sue-Meg (Patricks Point) State Park. Redwood National Park is incredible rain or shine -- a few years back we saw a Pacific giant salamander -- what could be better!
Great kayaking (bring your own) and birding opportunities along the coast from Eureka to Big Lagoon.

Fabulous chalet in a very peaceful location a few minutes drive from Trinidad shops, restaurants and beach. Very clean and modern. Big kitchen/living area and huge bedroom and bathroom. Everything you could possibly need. Big terrace with sea view and you can hear the seals barking in the distance. Lovely sunsets and so tranquil.
Loved the beautiful serene location in middle of nature(including the wonderful nature walk at back of property), spacious well stocked rooms and being close to Trinidad town, beach as well as Redwood national forest. There were activities for families and couple onsite (campfire, bbq, games) too!
The hotel is just 18 minutes away from Thomas Kuchel Visitor Center in Redwood National Park. We did two days of hiking in Redwood NP. So it really helps to stay at this hotel. Innkeeper cooks great breakfast.
Location was brilliant. Trinidad has a lot of character and plenty of facilities. The actual campsite is situated in the Emerald redwood forest, so it is ideal.
