Surprise, Peoria, and Sun City (all next to each other)...
Surprise, Peoria, and Sun City (all next to each other) beautiful area! No skyscrapers to block the views, ALL day sun. These 3 areas are mostly for retirees so not very noisy (being summer, also, kids are inside avoiding the heat), not a lot of foot traffic (more club carts, beware, there are some crazy drivers). I noticed there were not a lot of gas stations and convenience stores. (less loitering from undesirables) You will not see very many vagrants as the locals make sure that is curbed, the police may not be visible, but they are there and you can tell by the lack of vagrants, the streets are clean of trash. I come from a tiny community and you would thinks this area is too by the lack of street noise and pedestrians, (at least in the area of the hotel) If there hadn't been intermittent noise in the hallway, I would have thought I was alone

Front desk clerk Kevin definitely made us feel welcomed!
Front desk clerk Kevin definitely made us feel welcomed! He talked to us and gave us the room we requested! Our room looked just like the pictures. The pool was nice also. The po was Inside and they have a patio outside with tables and chairs. Breakfast was great! Thank you! Our family will definitely be staying again.

This rental home was so beautiful and exceeded all expectations! It was located in an upscale neighborhood with a well manicured landscaped yard. Also, the back patio area was perfect to enjoy the view. It had additional security features and amenities to ensure a safe and comfortable stay. I was also very impressed with the cleanliness of the home, and special care was taken by our host to make sure all our needs were met.
The home was spacious and decorated beautifully. Convenient location with easy access to restaurants and stores.
Melody, our host, provided such a wonderful and thoughtful area of snacks and extras. She was very responsive to any questions I had and went the extra mile to make our stay special.
Thank you, Melody. We loved our stay.

I needed a getaway from everyday life .and I used to love to stay at the windmill.but it has changed.i wanted a specific room.but I had my dog so I get that they have designated pet rooms but I feel jipped.the room was dirty and smelly and their new toilets were way to small.i nearly slipped in the showers .very unsafe.worst thing is I was looking forward to the pool and hot tub .and I was so bummed that they were dirty ,foggy.the hot tub was very low in water and the temp.was only a couple degrees warmer than the pool.not relaxing at all. And the lake that used to have a water spout and tons of fish to feed was still with no fish.very sad.it used to make me so happy.

We have been to Surprise many times, this was the first time we rented a home. We chose the BEST place to stay. Our host, and the owner were absolutely fabulous. We had so much famiy time. We enjoyed the grotto/heated pool, just amazing space. We spent hours playing board games and cards and cooked several meals. We were so fortunate to find this home away from home. Thank you

Our room was dated but would have been a better experience if it didn't smell so bad. We ended up switching rooms without any problem, but the second room's ceiling fan was squeaky, and the couch was wet. The sink area is not near the bathtub, so remember to get your towel before taking a shower. Towels were minimal. If you want your room clean-make, sure to call the front desk. They will not clean your room until after your 3rd night's stay. DO NOT ORDER from the take-out menu they offer you. A different company runs it, and the food is terrible. I will say that the staff our friendly, and WiFi was easy to access. We had to stay longer in town due to a family member in the hospital, but we switched hotels. Hampton is right across from the hospital, and was so much nicer. Comfort Inn was ok, but given the chance to do it over, we would not stay there again.

See reviews by guests who stayed at hotels in Surprise
1) The room was decent and quite spacious.
2) The breakfast was pretty good. The staff who serve breakfast on weekdays always seem to be in a bad mood and are a bit indifferent, but the weekend staff are much friendlier.
3) The staff at the hotel front desk were helpful.
4) Convenient parking.
