The lobby and restaurant renovations are great. I've stayed at the hotel before, prior to that work being done, and it's a HUGE improvement on the first impression when you walk in. It's a little bit weird how subservient to the restaurant the hotel is in terms of layout (the check in desk looks like it was almost an afterthought), but the improvement over the old lobby is so big that it's a positive no matter what.

The front desk immediately made us feel welcome upon check-in. My bf and I came as a last minute New Years idea (we are local and didn't want to go into the city), and as we checked in, we were provided a complimentary upgrade on our room, which was very kind and not expected. We also got room service since the bar was super busy, and the food came quick and tasted incredible!

The staff were amazing. They answered any question I had via their messaging service and were incredibly accommodative. The location was perfect for what we needed while visiting family and they had a great crib for our daughter that made the stay more comfortable for us.
Bob helped me get our bags to the room which was great and they even ordered us a complimentary Lyft ride to the airport when they didn't have a driver available to shuttle us.
