Everything was unsatisfactory upon check in.

Everything was unsatisfactory upon check in. I first discovered pubic hair in the shower and bathroom, no sheets or blankets in the room, broken fixtures (t.v. disconnected and not installed), and the room stunk of stale food and body odor. We got moved to a second room when I told the front desk and then that room was equally questionable. Then we come to be told that the health inspector has halted their food service so no breakfast that was included in our stay arrangements. It was awful to stay there and then two hours after checking out they tried to charge my account $270 dollars with a false accusation of smoking in the room. I am thoroughly disappointed that this room and location would be suggested by Priceline.

It was not Sugarland that was bad, it was the Marriott Hotel...

It was not Sugarland that was bad, it was the Marriott Hotel that was very very bad. The worse was the Fraudulent charge on my Credit Card of $1,426.00....!!!!! PLUS the room charge!.......We had to call Wells Fargo Fraud. And, they did not have our reservation that I made over a month in advance......Down graded our Room.....No staff at Front Desk and several customers waiting as well as us.......The only good was Valet...This is not the first bad experience we have had with Marriott, but, it is definitely the last, ever....

Overall the stay was pleasant. Hotel was very clean.

Overall the stay was pleasant. Hotel was very clean. And the staff was accommodating. We had to change rooms, since above our floor were children running. That worked out well for us. Getting around Sugar Land is easy. Sugar Land is a beautiful small town in Texas and great to explore. Unfortunate, at this time we are in, it's limited to open spaces as well as eating places, but great food around town and beautiful sites to see.

    The breakfast bar was great.

The breakfast bar was great. When we got to our room, our TV didn't work, so called downstairs and there was no one to check on it, so they moved us to another room, very quickly and without any trouble. I would recommend this property for a nice nights stay.

Breakfast was ok. could have hours extended till 10am instead of 9:30. Other hotels offer check outs at noon, but this one has check out time of 11:00am. room was clean. Good lighting. Room cleaning service was good and it was done every day without evening reminding them.
