Sturbridge was an excellent place to base ourselves on our trip to New England. Thus hotel was the best, by far, of the 8 hotels we stayed in in our trip to the USA.

On the Main St. are many restaurants, stores, coffee shops and Sturbridge Village, all within walking distance.of each other. The plaza on Rt 20 has several popular venues, Wal-Mart, Marshall's, Unos, Applebee's and Staples.
My favorite place to eat was at the Condesa Mexican restaurant, and Yankee candle outlet nearby was a pleasure to visit.

Location of the accommodation was very good.
Location of the accommodation was very good. Clean and soft white sheets were nice. Pillows were very nice. The list of which TV networks were on which stations was very helpful. The shower was great. The breakfast was very good. The managing staff were very friendly and helpful.
The room was small and loaded with furniture. Very hard to move around in. The computer outlet was not near the desk. The room had a musty odor which we think was due to the air-conditioning filter not being changed. Ashtrays should be removed from outside door (they we placed on top of the air-conditioning units.

We stayed in Sturbridge because we were visiting Sturbridge Village. The town itself really doesn't have a lot but we did find a pizza place (there are several but we tried one of them) that was pretty good, it was called Enrico's Brick Oven Pizzeria & Pub.

Old Sturbridge Village is the main attraction in town.
Old Sturbridge Village is the main attraction in town. It is a lovely trip for families. You enter the Village and you are transported to the 1800s. It is a full working village separate from the outside world. Once inside there are no cars, telephone wires, or anything to distract you from enjoying your day living in history.
Sturbridge also has many wonderful restaurants. Everything from a local gem-Cedar Street Grill, to pizza, fast food and ice cream.
Not far from Sturbridge (5 minutes) is Tree House Brewery which is known world wide!
Three times a year you will find the Brimfield Antiques Market just 15 minutes down Route 20.

We had some difficulty checking in to the Scottish Inn...
We had some difficulty checking in to the Scottish Inn because the person at the desk couldn't find our reservation and English was not his primary language. The room we were assigned smelled horrible from smoke despite a non smoking room and the cable TV did not work. We were finally given another room which was much better. We didn't bother going for breakfast because the room was so small that four people would be over crowded so we went next door to Annie's for breakfast.

Was told that my 35 pound dog wasn't welcome however there was much larger dogs next to us that were always barking and very disruptive.
The staff treated us with disrespect and didn't want to let us have shampoo or more towels without us begging for them. Honestly I would never stay at such an incredibly horrible hotel again. Probably why they don't allow you refunds because they know how horrible they run their hotel.

I traveled here from Dallas, TX to be a travel nurse and where I was originally going to stay didn't work out.I found this hotel on my booking.com app.I was very nervous considering I don't no anything or anybody here. I CAN'T THANK JACK, NANCY, AND SMITH ENOUGH for accommodating me at such a short notice and it was late at night. The room was very nice, clean, comfortable, and inexpensive. Everything was so good that I'm going to spend my 8 weeks here.
There were several aspects that I found particularly appealing. Firstly, the rooms were exceptionally clean and well-maintained, which significantly enhanced the overall comfort and enjoyment of my stay. Additionally, the availability of free parking was a pleasant surprise. Moreover, the hotel offered excellent value for money, especially for those looking for a convenient and affordable option for a short stay in the city.
Almost everything. But the Staff. Particularly Hotel Management. Especially hotel female manager. Rude unfriendly untrained. Inappropriate attire or dress code. Never honored. my third reservation. Kicked me out.
Her male manager told me not to come back. For no reason. I have never experienced such terrible customer service.the entire staff should be replaced. Or trained better.
King room for 75$ +tax at the time of the visit. Good value for money for an overnight stay on a trip from Boston to New York near Old Sturbridge Village, which we visited in the morning. Basic Buffet breakfast with morning coffee was included, modest at first glance, but satisfactory for the price.
