Ate supper at a Mexican Restaurant called The Amigos.
Ate supper at a Mexican Restaurant called The Amigos. Food was okay but the furnishings were somewhat worn. My seat was crudely taped up. There was a pub further down the road which we tried, but it was too loud (Sat. night crowd). We went back to The Amigos. It was slightly above average in food quality and authenticity.

Burnt Tavern is my favorite place to stop and eat when in Stow. If you're traveling in pairs in the summertime, make a reservation and ask for a table with a view of the water. It's quaint. Concerts at the Blossom venue are always a great experience.

I visit a daughter who lives in Akron so it’s important to choose a hotel with good access from the highway & a close distance to her home. For me, this location was perfect. It also afforded easy access for shopping, groceries, gas, etc. Since my travels to the Akron area are for visiting, I’m not looking to pay NYC prices nor lavish accommodations but I want value for my dollars. I’ve tried other hotels in the area & over the years, they deteriorated, became shabby & in need of updating yet the room prices remained high. This hotel received high ratings & looked new but I wasn’t impressed. The rooms were pretty basic & could use more cleaning (mold in shower, dusty furniture). It wasn’t awful by any means but likely I’ll choose another hotel when I visit next.

We checked in to the hotel on Sunday, Aug 13th evening and the WIFI was not working. Nobody mentioned anything about this at check in and we had to come downstairs later on to be told by the night manager what the issue was. Your staff comped us a free breakfast which was sweet but the communication could have been a lot better at the start.
Really enjoyed our stay here. Location was great. A lot of nice restaurants nearby and we rode our bikes to Brandywine Falls. Morning breakfast was great and the beds and room were very comfortable. No hesitations to recommend if your looking for chain hotel in a good location to the national park.
The hotel as a facility was good and clean but I was treated not fair by the reception staff
They said my reservation was canceled from booking.com
But I tried to explain that I had a confirmation email and I did e check in
They charge me much higher rate that I paid for through booking. Com
Location was excellent directly off of Route 8. Exercise room and pool looked nice but we did not use. Breakfast was good-- wish there were more low carb options. Bonus was a Blink EV charger (for a fee) in the hotel parking lot.
