room was dirty the bottoms of my socks had heavy soiling on them and the room had ants so we had to get rid of all our food with no compensation. gm was very rude and gave us threats to remove us from the hotel if we discussed any problems with our room to other guests. felt like he was going to kick us out at any time and never got any apologies for the problems with the room.

It's a good place to visit but this time around I was disappointed with Lake Compounce. Not enough help there. Rides and places to eat in park were closed. No hand sanitizer or soap in bathroom. I will not be going back there.

I stayed here because it was affordable and not too far from the places I was going to while I was in CT. The only part of Southington I saw was the street by the hotel. There was a variety of places to eat and the people I met were friendly.

Housekeeping so poor! Blood on pillows. AC didn't work!! Tried 4 different rooms and found each room not clean. Got a refund and left! Clearly Housekeeping is not a priority! Also no bed covers on bed and pillows. When I asked about that the guy didn't have an an answer. He said Idk. It's just plain disgusting there. I would not recommend AT ALL.

The staff had gotten my comment with reservation that I am allergic to all the good animals, including all kinds of dog, and made sure to give me a room that had not had a dog (pet or service) in it for a while. I slept and woke w/o wheezing or sinus issues.
Breakfast area was crowded starting from early morning, we have to ask for filling up the stuff, everytime. In Dubai, I stayed in the Holiday Inn express close to the airport, but I felt it was extremely good than southington.
The location was convenient. The restaurant's are close by "Dennys, IHOP, McDonald's, Panera, and Chili's. We also found a Wal-Mart not to far from the hotel
