Good location nearby to multiple retail outlets, there is a diner in amongst the shops give it a miss , poor quality and food was barely warm , there are others a short ride away, as forthe hotel given the keen price point I was very pleased , clean ,quiet, very good breakfast , friendly staff quick painless check in, ample parking in a well lit lot , very clean and comfortable well worth every penny .

We booked 3 rooms for my kid ND graduation weekend. The front desk manager is a Superman ! He seems aways working in the hotel. He is capable to solve problems. There was one car with super loud music on and parked outside of my hotel room, I waited around 12am then called front desk, a girl answered but didn’t do anything. Then I called again, it was answered by the front desk manager, he went to the car and talked to the driver for quite a while, I saw him from my window. He was nice but firm to let that driver turn the music down. I lost his business card but remember him. He speaks Spanish and smokes outside.

Cleanliness and friendly, helpful demeanor of staff.
I would not recommend this hotel. When I booked four rooms at this hotel, your sit states pay when you arrive and free cancellation up until 24 hours before booking date,
Two weeks before a our trip the hotel manager called and stated that if the rooms were not paid in full by that day at 6:00 we would loose our reservations. He also stated there was no free cancellation
Upon arrival at the hotel he had not registered the rooms in my friends names, they all remained in my name. Three of the four rooms were on the second floor (no elevator)
The rooms were mostly clean but badly in need of updating
The final problem was Sunday morning while we were packing the cars for departure the hotel deactivated all room keys . WE could not get back into our room to retrieve our belongs. It should be noted this was done at 9:00AM- well before the check out time

I love South Bend.
I love South Bend. It’s a great size city and I find the people very friendly. There are many good restaurants and I love the variety of great ethnic places to eat.
Some of my favorites are Cre-Asian, JW Chen’s, Sunny Italy, Cosimo and Susie’s Italian restaurant. For fine dining: Cafe Navarre, LaSalle Grill and Artisan ( in Elkhart). It's easy to get around South Bend. Of course Notre Dame is here and there is a variety of things to do there. Take a walk around the gorgeous campus. Enjoy your stay.

there were a few birthday parties going on and lots of unsupervised kids screaming and running around the pool. lots of mold growing in the pool area ceiling dripping water off the ceiling. later in the evening the fire alarm was pulled by a child or burnt popcorn not really sure what happened. that was scary!

Went for Norte Dame football game. The college experience is awesome! The entire campus was beautiful and memories for a lifetime. Everyone there so friendly. Best places to eat are all around the college. Yes there is a lot of low income areas close by, but that is this entire country.

Very clean downtown, river walks are nicely kept. Lots to do and places to visit, everyone we met seemed friendly enough and the restaurants were good. (PEGGS for breakfast was great). Beautiful homes around the area we stayed. Notre Dame was well worth visiting.

DO NOT book elsewhere- we had to check out of the Hilton Embassy Suites due to the unacceptable cleanliness.
Best private accommodation I've ever stayed in. From sleeping facilities through entertainment and garden environment to cooking and laundry.... everything was 10 out of 10. The surrounding area (shopping, relaxation and historic sites) were magnificent.
I will book a room for the Ohio State/Notre Dame football game in September. It will cost over $400 to go to The Ohio State Game. I may want to stay for the Central Michigan Game it will only cost $51.00 to go to The CMU Game in South Bend.
