Nice clean room. It had bonus twin beds which was unexpected. With have older kids that don't like to sleep together the bunk beds were great. Breakfast was great.
The Quality Inn & Suites hotel is two miles from Lake Cumberland. This outdoor recreation area offers activities like horseback riding, golfing, fishing, swimming, jet skiing and boat rentals.

I was busy with a basket retreat so didn’t get to look around. Somerset does have a wide variety of lodging & a decent variety of restaurants though most are fast food places. The people are really friendly & have a wonderful Southern accent.

I've been to Somerset several times.
I've been to Somerset several times. I usually visit for the Somernites Cruise car show but I have also visited other attractions such as Cumberland Falls. Somerset is a nice city with multiple restaurants and plenty of places to shop. There are also other attractions nearby. The Somernites Cruise Car Show is a great weekend for anyone interested in cars.

Sadly they need to do alot of work on the room we stayed in. It wasn't clean and we were too tired from a long drive to change. The internet was down when we got there not their fault. Only one of my keys worked. The hanging smoke detector just seemed like no one cared.

My family was visiting for 4th of July boating trip.
My family was visiting for 4th of July boating trip. After a long day on the lake we ate at Wings and rings...which is within walking distance from the hotel. Getting in and out with boats attached to trucks was very easy to maneuver. They even have additional parking next to the hotel if you cannot fit your boat within the parking lot which is nice. If you plan on docking at burnside you definitely want to stay at this hotel. It is within a 10 minute drive.

Mellow Mushroom has the best pizza in town . Best beer prices are at Walmart . Never go to the Mcdonald's at 131 s hwy 27 and 80 in the early morning hours has the slowest and dumbest crew i have ever seen .

I had low expectations as it was one of the cheaper hotels in the area, but it was a great hotel. We checked in after midnight and the gentleman working the front desk was super friendly and explained what was needed quickly and efficiently. The room was clean, quiet and comfortable. There was a full buffet breakfast with plenty of options and was delicious. I would definitely book here again!
Staff is professional and check in was fast & easy. Room was clean, beds and tv's are brand new. There's not much to the room, it is literally just a clean place to sleep if you're in Somerset and the rates are more than fair.
