Our room was very clean, quiet and comfortable. We did not have a pet with us but I was very impressed by the fact that the motel is pet friendly and even has a dog wash station. We changed our room reservation to include a 3rd adult and the owner, John was very accommodating. I liked that I was able to purchase a bottle of wine after hours on the "honor system". Breakfast included fresh pastries and there were real plates and silverware rather than the typical paper plates and plastic cutlery.

It's well centered in the Door Peninsula so other sites are easily reachable. There's a good choice of restaurants: Al Johnson's Swedish and Chop. In nearby Ephraim is Alexander's, and in Fish Creek is Prince of Pierogi and Segway the Door Tours.

Sister Bay has a lot to offer.

Sister Bay has a lot to offer. Many places to stay, great restaurants and the view of the Bay is incredible, especially at sunset. We ate at Husby's on Friday night for a Fish Fry. We had the Perch, sweet potato frys and coleslaw. Generous portions and very good. I would also recommend Sister Bay Bowl. We were going to go there, but the three hour wait was too long for us. Next time we'll go earlier. Walking Sister Bay is relaxing after you find a place to park. We decided to go to Door County on Friday July 5th, made our reservation and drove up for a wonderful 5 day getaway. We stayed at the Pheasant Park Resort, which was just perfect for us. We swam in the outdoor, heated pool every morning between 8 and 9:30 am. They also have an indoor pool, whirlpool and Sauna. We had a two bedroom suite and enjoyed the extra room to relax, kitchen and two bathrooms. We paid full price because we booked the day of, so I don't know what you might pay if you book early. We always enjoy going to Door County and this a great and relaxing getaway. We drive up from the south, from Elkhorn, Wisconsin, through Milwaukee on I-43 North. At Manitowoc, we take the Waldo Blvd Exit north to Two Rivers. The drive along Lake Michigan to Kewaunee, Algoma, the North on S to Sturgeon Bay. Then it's just 45 minutes to Sister Bay.

I am hoping the mold in the bathroom was a temporary thing.

I am hoping the mold in the bathroom was a temporary thing. On the plus side they did have a dehumidifier in the room and that made me feel better. I would stay here again and I would highly recommend it for so many other reasons. In their defense. It was a very humid summer in the area and the mold very well. Could have been from that or from someone taking way too long of a shower

Sister bay is easy to get around in just driving or walking on 42. The marina, beach and boat tours are favorite things to do. Lure restaurant is a great place to dine for seafood. For grocery shopping, Piggly Wiggly is where you want to go, located on 42 in the Country Walk Shops. To gas up your vehicle, the BP station is just across the road from there.

    The best relaxing getaway!

The best relaxing getaway! We ate at the Summer Kitchen, the Sister Bay bowling alley (yes, very nice and very good!) and a little hangout place for lunch/snack called, Not Licked Yet. Sister Bay is so centrally located that parks and other towns are all close. One of the nicest little vacations we've had if you enjoy a step back in time and some peace and tranquility. There's also a nice little dog park in Ephraim and our dog enjoyed the trip as much as we did!

Location is in the middle of it all, great shops and food along the way.Al Johnson’s is a must to eat at. The live music outside in warmer weather is enjoyable as is sitting in the park watching the children play on the playground and watching the boaters on the lake. We picked Sister Bay for our mom’s memorial bench because she/us loved it here

A great place to stay and we will definitely return. The full kitchen was perfect since you can easily spend $40 or $50 just for breakfast in a place like Sister Bay. Two bedrooms, 3 TVs, excellent WIFI, Super clean. Even a balcony to relax with a glass of wine after fighting Door County traffic. And since it's secluded in the woods with its own parking you don't have the parking problems of Fish Creek and Sister Bay.

It was good. I liked having it included in the price of our hotel booking. I would have liked a little more protein added, like boiled eggs or more cheeses.
