It was so quiet!!! The rooms really were sound proof

The city is well cared for. The sculptures downtown are so fun. The Falls and grounds are beautifully maintained.
Had dinner at Mackensie River Pizza. Delish! Our server was just wonderful. I wish I could have stayed longer to visit more restaurants!

Staff was responsive to request for iron and ironing board. Enjoyed the breakfast options. I did a pre-check in the day before we arrived, but had to do it all again at the hotel. I won't do that again and potentially expose my ID and other information twice.

The Empire mall was great, downtown Sioux Falls was clean, there wasn't a lot of traffic, the people, for the most part, were friendly, we ate at Fazoli's (they closed in Denver, Colorado) it was clean, and the food was great. Getting around Sioux Falls was very easy. Everything was within 15 minutes away. In fact, we went out there looking to find jobs so that we can relocate to South Dakota. Not only were we able to get a job, but we also found an apartment to rent. We plan on moving out there within the next couple of weeks. We would avoid staying at the Ramada by Wyndham though, until they do some upgrades.

We enjoy old towns and there feel. They have a nice historic home district and a vibrant restaurant area. I think there is a lot to explore in the area but we were under a time budget and could only stay the one night.

It appears a lot of money has been poured into the riverfront area and those immediate buildings appear nice, but it falls off fast and even the nice area is probably not safe to walk alone after 10pm. The rest of the city north and east of downtown was pretty disappointing/sketch. Not sure if the city has received a lot of migrants, and/or has been roiled by drugs or liberals, but no one in our family of 5 felt great about our 12-hours there.

Beautiful antique house and decor. The location was great for access to downtown where there are many shops and restaurants. Comfortable room and bed. Right next to Pettigrew House/Museum. But it wasn't open during the hours we were there. Peaceful. It's located in the Historic District, so it was fun to drive around and look at all the houses. Reasonable price. Thanks to the owners for this undertaking in historical restoration!
It was clean and shiny and modern and well cared for - sleek and beautiful.
The restaurant food was excellent - especially the French toast - had to ask for recipe - best I ever had.
There was a hot breakfast everyday with a different choice each day.
Very nice, quiet, clean hotel.
