Most of the staff was nice. The ones I met did their best to try and help me find my way around. The maintenance man was amazing and I don't know how he keeps up with all of the stuff that needs done. He knew what I needed and brought it to the room. He knew what I was talking about with the safety hazards, he said he was going to be doing the upgrades himself, but that takes time
Nice farm town with some industry in the middle of nowhere,...
Nice farm town with some industry in the middle of nowhere, however real fun asset Sikeston has… ta -da.. Lambert’s “thrower’s” restaurant where severs toss small loves of bread across the dining room, over the heads of diners… that kind of fun is quite an attraction. The various home style endless foods like black eyed peas, tomato/pasta, bread and potatoes are offered by young farm boys/girls walking around offering it to you and other diners making it filling meal.
HINT: go in at the end of the day and you might be offered a couple loaves of warm bread or a takeout of black eyed peas or whatever they have left… it’s a real deal
HINT: don’t get the catfish, it was disappointing, very thin filets with thick breading hard on the edges.
HOWEVER, this was my fourth visit, have tried or sampled off the plate of friends and family most everything the offer and each was delicious.

The hotel was beautiful. The beds were very comfortable. My only complaint was that the air conditioner did not work properly, so the room wasn't cooled properly. We ate at Lamberts which was great except my husband's liver was over cooked and he didn't send it back so it was on him.

Breakfast ease and variety
=Great value for the price. Great location, variety of eateries close by, located right off of expressway ( a bit difficult to locate if not familiar with the location) but we eventually found it. We were on our way back home & weren't able to stay but overnight. However perusing literature available we'd like to go back & check out some of the sights.

It had a little bit of everything to do within decent driving distance. We had a blast. We ate at Lambert’s and most of us had the ribs- HIGHLY RECOMMEND- a couple of the kids had the chicken tenders and loved them too. We stopped in CATO for some ladies clothing shopping. We went to their Walmart. We drove around and saw the sights. The locals are very welcoming.

Clean facility, pleasant and friendly staff, fresh popcorn upon arrival, complimentary drinks and snacks was a pleasant surprise! Rooms very clean and comfortable. Quiet. Great shower!! Amazing and delicious hot breakfast, full spread. Excellent experience. Will stay here again and will try to find Pear Trees in the future!
(Do NOT recommend the Mexican restaurant right next door!! Very bad.)
Breakfast and location were good for us, as we were there for the Sikeston Bootheel Rodeo, came in on I-57 and left on US Hwy 62! We were three miles from the Rodeo Arena! We had a nice size handicap accessible room on the first floor, near the side entrance and the handicap parking area! Staff was friendly and helpful and the room was quiet and peaceful. Visibility and access to the motel is good.
The manager on duty was absolutely wonderful! She was extremely attentive to the needs of every guest, especially the young men who were traveling for the Riverbend Classic Basketball Tournament. She made the entire experience feel like we were at home and I would strongly recommend your hotel to family, friends and colleagues in the future.
