We just loved this hotel - it was much closer to the water than we expected - our room had its own small garden which was a real treat. Although we did eat out at a lovely Italian restaurant close by we had the rest of our meals in the hotel - all excellent. Staff were great too.

Location is beautiful and charming. The hotel decor is beautiful, tastefully done, so charming, and high quality. My room was simple but very nicely appointed, immaculate, and bed was comfortable. The staff was nice and accommodating; the building was beautiful; and it was the best calm getaway I’ve had in a while. The hotel also offers kayaks and SUP for free…as well as food for the sheep that are on site.
We had an amazing stay at Seven. Beth and Patrick are very accommodating and friendly. Seven has everything you need for a great stay at Shelter Island. We really liked the pool, gym area and breakfast.
