The biggest joy was the Rain Shadow effects.

The biggest joy was the Rain Shadow effects. We enjoyed a fairly clear day without but a sprinkle of rain. As we ventured outside the 15 mile radius , the sky darkened and rain started hitting the windshield. The service we received at restaurants, gas stations, etc was exceptional. People seemed more genuine . All in all a great experience with which we will return again. We ate lunch and breakfast at the OLD Mill and were blown away by the great food and service. For Dinner we ventured over to the Dockside Grill and shared a scrumptious plate of Ale battered halibut, Caesar salad and lemon custard dessert. This was my 70/Birthday that weekend. Totally Enjoyed our visit.

Went to the wildlife park which was very fun.

Went to the wildlife park which was very fun. You can drive around and feed animals. If I had more time. I would have liked to hike to the light house. As it was, Monday night in Sequim was a battle to find dinner before the town shut down. We looked forward to Salty Girls Seafood but it was closed. Italian joint next to it was closed. Tap Room nearby only had beer, no food. Fish and Chips in the church building was closed. Thrilled to find the Thai restaurant open but a 45 minute wait sent us away. Ended up at the Mariners restaurant which had adequate food, cold beer. and a charming local band.

The room was clean, quite and very spacious.

The room was clean, quite and very spacious. For just a few dollars more he gave us a suite. It had a seperate space for the kitchen and snack bar, living room area with TV and couch. The other room had a King size bed , desk, Wifi, and was very spacious as well. It also had a balcony with a view. We were able to extend our stay for 3 more days without moving. The owners/employees were all very nice , accommodating and in tune with our needs. I would reccommend a stay with this Lodge to all. Sequim is only a few miles away as well as Sequim Bay State Park.

Sequim is a small town but really nice and lively during the lavender festival. The market at the park was awesome with cool products and vendors including all the local lavender farms. Totally worth it!

    It's a beautiful drive.

It's a beautiful drive. But not much to do, unless your into casino's, or hiking. Thee place we wanted to eat at wasn't open along with a lot of the other places. So unless your able to go during the week your out of luck. Because you only have one weekend day to enjoy there

The area where the cabin is located is super relaxing, the views are pretty great and the cabin is cute and cozy and has great potential… Jumping inside the hot tub after a day of hiking in the rain feels amazing. Sequim’s downtown area is very close and it’s a cute little town.

This hotel had an excellent location. Dinner right across the street. We book 3 rooms, all were clean and comfortable. We were on our way to catch the Coho in Port Angeles, so 20 minutes away.

The check in was marred by a system glitch showing we had paid Booking.com but not the hotel so check in was slowed and unpleasant.
