The Pacific Inn, hotel in Seal Beach

Only a few blocks from the water in Seal Beach, California, this cozy hotel is within walking distance of a variety of attractions and offers comfortable guestrooms with convenient amenities.

The location was wonderful. There were nearby shops, and the pier was within walking distance. They have a shuttle that as long as you reserve it in advance, you can go pretty much anywhere within a certain radius.

Seal Beach is a small, suburban beach town.

Seal Beach is a small, suburban beach town. The downtown is charming, but not designed for high-traffic tourism. Very authentic local beach community--I grew up there and was visiting family. Long Beach is just north, and a much bigger, international city and Huntington (for surfing) and Laguna Beaches to the south are more touristy. Don't forget a sweatshirt for the marine-layer in the morning and the cool nights!

We had never been to Seal Beach before and would definitely go again. It was close to the cruise we were going to the next morning. Lots of shops and places to eat. Enjoyed walking their pier and watching the ocean come to shore.

First time staying in Seal Beach in the month of January.

First time staying in Seal Beach in the month of January. The first two days the weather was cold and wet but of course our last day was sunny and warm. Main street is great to go to for food, fun and people watching. The beach is clean. The locals are very friendly. Number one spot for walking and riding a bike. Family friendly. Check out Junior Burrito across the street from the beach. Best Mexican food ever.

Seal Beach has been my favorite So Cal beach since I was a kid. It is clean and not overly crowded. The pier allows you to walk out and view the coast line, but you can also walk down the board walk too. I enjoyed eating at Creama on Main Street. Their outdoor patio is lovely, the service is excellent and the food fantastic. Excellent coffee. Walt's Wharf has good food, but a bit pricey.

I like the choices of going to the beach great restaurant choices and just the feel of strolling along the Main Street historic district with all of its shops A seal beach restaurant Hangouts his outstanding I have been there several times although it's been probably 10 years since my last visit but it has not missed a beat it is still a great place to eat I was disappointed that the majority of shots were close to even on the weekend Saturday a big shopping day and only about 25% of the shops were open even though every shop had a sign on their door announcing temporary hours during the covid-19 pandemic but so many shops were locked up and closed very disappointing if you put a sign on your door that you are open and you have temporary hours but then you just lock up the doors and stay closed completely in my book is a huge disappointment and false advertising

The staff at Pacific Inn were very friendly. They couldn't do enough for us. The hotel even provided beach equipment for us including surfing boogie boards. Wow! For British guests, the hotel EVEN HAD MARMALADE available at the breakfast bar. Wow! This indicates some effort at thoughtfulness at this hotel. I should mention that parking and room wifi was complimentary, unlike in some other establishments we visited (where we felt nickel and dimed a lot of the time). Thank you.

Location is excellent for a relaxing few days, Seal Beach is beautiful, beach is unspoiled and clean. Breakfast at this Hotel is better than most, very well presented. Staff were really helpful. Rooms clean and spacious with a small balcony. Small pool and hot tub. Both clean and appear well maintained. Main Street in town 5 minutes walk, lots of great restaurants, gift shops, just very relaxed and interesting. Highly recommended this hotel.

The location and setup of the hotel was great for our purposes....short bus ride down to event at Huntington Beach, and Seal Beach is a wonderful throwback type beach town that is more relaxed than HB.
