Very funky gay establishment. The staff were very friendly. We took advantage of the cheese and wine hour every night - very generous and good wine. Continental breakfast was fine with good coffee. The location is good with plenty of bars and eateries nearby - including the hotel's own bar on the ground floor. Be sure to take advantage of the 2-for-1 drinks from noon to 9pm. Bus stops nearby for the cheap bus to the beach.

I grew up in St. Pete 1954-62.
I grew up in St. Pete 1954-62. I think it's lost its charm to excessive buildout, beach condos and huge buildings downtown. Many small stores closed. Expensive to even ark there. I only went there for a reunion of schoolmates from 1962, and they pretty much agree with me. There's a song that says "You don't know what you got, tear down the park and put up a parking lot."

Love the bay front/pier area.
Love the bay front/pier area. Many park areas and gorgeous old trees! Central Ave area is fun and tons of restaurants. I love the older houses. Unfortunately it is filling up with highrise apartment/condo buildings. If you are on the peripheral areas of the cities or in some of the outlying parks there are A LOT of homeless people which is very sad. Similar to many North American cities I am sorry to say.

Unfortunately, we were done there to help family with Hurricane Helene cleanup. We were able to go out to dinner, downtown St. Petersburg was great! Doc Ford's Rum bar and grille at St. Pete Pier was a great place, friendly staff and great food!

Hasn't changed a lot since I moved from there 10 years ago except with traffic and population but my daughter's family lives there and it is close to a lot of beautiful places to visit. Walking and biking friendly via the Pinellas Trail.

We were on a fishing trip and the location was convenient for our outing. We enjoyed it very much. We just didn't have much time to do any sightseeing around St Pete. The hosts at the hotel were very warm and friendly. Will return.

It was very comfortable, clean and kitchen well resourced. Location was great and was able to hire a scooters close by to get around if needed. Valet parking is a little pricey, but I was able to schedule my car to be at the front by a certain time. I'd recommend this hotel to others.
Fabulous hotel. Clean, light, airy and excellent staff. Amazing breakfast. Comfortable room. Nothing to dislike!
Also there was a craft beer bar about 200m from the hotel - perfect! It became our staple for food and drink as there wasn't anything else around.
Nice hotel with big rooms, cocktails in the fridge and a good breakfast (good selection of cereals). On the other side of the street there is a vegan restaurant (they also support online ordering and pick up).
This hotel is in a beautiful old building. The staff were friendly, efficient and professional. We enjoyed both meals eaten there and the complementary drinks with dinner were much appreciated.
