St Joseph has the most expensive hotels I've ever experienced. If I didn't have to be there for work, I wouldn't be there and when this job is complete, I don't plan on coming back. I was NOT impressed.

We r shocked at the deterioration of much of the neighborhoods around Sacramento, Monterey,Mitchell area!!! What in the world has happened to that part of St Joe??? So much blight, filth, and ugliness!!! Why aren’t city leaders concerned with cleaning of the curbs, trimming tree limbs and just keeping things clean???!!! Simply shocking!!! Also so many nasty people who looked unkempt, old dirty cars and trucks everywhere!!! What in the world has happened??? St. Joseph, clean up!!!!

I really enjoyed going into the historic section of St. Joseph. I went through the Pony Express Museum, and that was very informative and fun. The feel of the town is very comfortable and welcoming. I also had a very tasty meal at The Felix Gourmet. I really recommend it. I had a wonderful time and would enjoy visiting it again.

    The best thing was location.

The best thing was location. Right off the highway with many restaurants. The rooms were so dirty, even the sheets and towels had stains in them. The locks were broken as if someone had kicked the door in. The handle fell off when we left in the morning. The front desk was a circus with the ladies whole family, kids and even dogs. Totally unprofessional and rude.

We enjoyed the Glore museum and the pony Express Museum. The America's best value was not a good experience. I wold not stay again. LePeep was a good choice for breakfast. The lobby was closed to the motel and no breakfast was available as it should have been, as stated on booking.com

Saint Joseph is a town rich with history of westward expansion. Its museums are full of interesting exhibits including the Pony Express. We found two days was a fair amount of time to tour museums and also see historic mansions, the county courthouse, visit Lover's Lane, and experience some great food. Plus, the city was a good central location for further exploration into Kansas and Nebraska. The city itself is fairly easy to navigate, and bear in mind the one-way streets, especially downtown. Most of the chain restaurants and shopping sites are located on the east side of town along the I-29 business loop. We enjoyed Olive Garden so much we visited two nights in a row! Interestingly, while the city has many historic buildings, many are not kept up, and the town in general has a tired feel. This St. Joseph visit satisfied our curiosity, and we have no plans to return in the near future.

Pleased that they offered free Breakfast and Supper. The hotel had been recently remodeled and I thought it was new construction. It was the quietest motel I have ever stayed in! The air conditioner, refrigerator were almost silent, no other guest noises from showers or toilets, and there was no traffic noise. It was incredibly quiet!
