I live by one of the most beautiful beaches in the world. The Atlantic beach is not why we went. St Augustine is a beautiful old world city. The oldest in the US. It has the oldest standing fort also. Lots to see and lots of history.

They had flags, indicating the safety of the water. The hotel set up 2 very nice beach chairs per room and had umbrellas for rent. They had beach toys near the pool that I brought down for the kids. We played all day near the shore and walked along the beach at sunset. The sound of the waves and the view from our balcony was wonderful!

Make sure when the hotel says it is on the beach that it isn’t a half a block away with no view of the beach at all. I don’t really care to go back. There are so many other places to go that I liked much more.

The beach was a great beach, but I didn't get to enjoy it because of the weather. There were many great restaurants near by. Lots of things to do. I wish there had been more live entertainment available. We were there the lasts week in April so things may have been a little slow at that time.

Wanted to take the kids on a quick spring break trip.
Wanted to take the kids on a quick spring break trip. Took the kids to the Alligator farm which was only 7 min from the hotel. Decided to book while we were at the alligator farm. We lucked up and had availability at the hotel. Very pleased with the location and comfort. Just a short drive to salt life restaurant. Great atmosphere with live music. Ice cream store across the street. Beach is also across the street.

This hotel is absolutely classic in regard to its architecture and equipment. Very well-maintained and looked after, spotless and the staff is very friendly. We had been on a trip for 10 days, the other days we used Marriott hotels but this one was really standing out and superior to some of the Marriott's that we went to.
I liked the room a lot,very clean, big hot tub, comfortable bed. The room is big. The beach is close to the hotel,but you can't see it from the window. I paid $100 , booked it in advance. Parking is free.
Loved the easy access to the beach, the pool was great & access to use the local YMCA gym was great! Loved the queen double beds and cable tv for the kids.
