Motel 6-Sacramento, CA - North, hotel in Sacramento

Located north of downtown Sacramento, this motel is just a 5-minute walk to Scandia Fun Center. It features free parking and a 24-hour front desk.

There is no breakfast there, and the power was out for more than 6 hours at night, and they didn't even offer a discount and me. My mother was there she's have needed electricity for her medical equipment which they didn't even ask or anything. Did you go round the offer of flashlight or knock on the doors and let people know it's okay or nothing. It was pitch dark. And scary my mom was really scared, even go outside or evening and and I think that that is the worst hotel 6 I've ever state up. There's some that's been great. But some reason that place is it disaster? And the 1st day when I got there. The gate to that you have to use the card app to enter the park. Ing lot was off track and so I was on my motorcycle. And there was enough room for me to go through. And I did and when I got parked and I was getting off my bike the. Little girl works in the office came walking up to me and started yelling at me say I broke their gate which I did not, and my mom came outside and started having panic attacks dressed. Now and I told her to go look at girl needs to be fired

FAQs about hotels in Sacramento

Still Glimmering Like Gold

Sacramento maintains a glimmer of the Gold Rush and, if there weren’t cars on the cobbled streets, when wandering Old Sacramento you almost feel like you’re back in those days. Like in classic Westerns, horses pull covered wagons past a wooden boardwalk linking covered shopfronts.

The blossoming Californian capital attracted more than one kind of pioneer though. The Big Four entrepeneurs devised the Central Pacific Railroad, as detailed in the State Railroad Museum. The Eagle Theatre was the state’s first, on a considerably smaller scale than the modern-day arts venues showcasing everything from opera to ballet.

A paddle steamer is moored on the nearby Sacramento River, and the American River Parkway lines the city’s other river, opposite the first settlement site. The founder created Sutter’s Fort, and the State Indian Museum documents the native people that lived there long before.

Despite such mass immigration, Sacramento is surprisingly well integrated, but with that glorious Californian sun, it’s easy to see why the locals are so laidback. Palm trees shade streets including Capitol Mall, connecting the State Capitol to Tower Bridge. The nearby Crocker Art Museum is the oldest museum in the western US, while historic figures are remembered in the California Hall of Fame.

Booking.com’s accommodation options include apartments near the convention centre, cheap motels and Sacramento Airport hotels.

Sacramento is a very entertaining and relaxing city to visit. There’s so many things you can do in Sacramento, from visiting all the old buildings and old town Sacramento to catching a game at the Golden 1 basketball arena or 1 of the many concerts the Golden 1 hosts. The atmosphere is amazing and the diversity is great. There’s plenty of options to choose from when you want to eat, I recommend Sampino’s for lunch down on 16th and F st., Frank Fats for a drink or a delicious dinner. If you like Chinese food there’s a delicious place to get some on South land Park dr. and Florin rd. behind the Bel Air shopping center. If you want a steak I recommend Morton’s on Capitol ave. These are just a few of countless things and places you can do to enjoy yourself at in Sacramento.

We enjoyed walking round the Old Sacramento area with its historic buildings and various interesting museums. Seeing the paddle steamer, now a hotel, was also interesting. The iconic Tower Bridge is stunning, even more so with a great sunset behind it. The area around the Capitol building is fascinating, with a very moving statue to Californian law officers who died in the line of duty. The highlight for us was the Crocker Art museum - with some amazing artwork spanning many centuries and geographies, housed in a fantastic building, including the Crocker family's mansion home.

Location is great, easy to get to and many things are walkable from hotel. Hotel has gone downhill in the last several years: one of the two main doors to enter and exit has been closed. Gift shop has closed. Parking is now $30 Breakfast is buffet only and is $20.00 I couldn't get on wi-fi and no one could figure it out, they had no number to call to help the situation. After 10 or so stays, I won't be going back there again.

Sacramento city is a sanctuary City so you can expect most hotels are full of refugees. Very few people in these hotels are actually paying customers, it's more like living or staying in a slum apartment building. I moved to four different hotels and it was the same in all of them. The homeless crisis is out of control. I've seen it on videos but I didn't realize that it was as bad as it was and it is everywhere. Customer service is no longer there because I think the people are burned out with all the problems they are having so I was treated rudely and disrespectfully and some people even like Uber drivers refused to talk to me. This is not a fun place to go. I don't plan on returning
