The light switch in bathroom had been melted by looked like a lighter.. some burn marks on top of plastic microwave door frame.
Fan in bathroom was always on with the light switch and super annoying. I ended up taking a bath in the dark to avoid the Fan humming.
Fan plastic cover broken and extremely dirty.
Ac unit needed filter cleaned.
Outlets and switches looked original and had been painted and painted. Needs replacement of outlet covers and switches.

The affordability v proximity: It’s not very close to wineries but it is centrally located and is a lot more affordable than staying near vineyards.

Sonoma airport is only a few minutes away and is perfectly situated for going to Napa Valley, and Healdsburg etc to see the vineyards and tour the wineries. I did not get to see much of Rohnert Park itself, but it is a great location for visiting San Francisco and the surrounding areas! Within an hour or so of many many sights to see like the Redwoods, Muir Woods, Larkspur or Sausalito to catc a ferry ride to the Ferry Building in San Francisco. Wine country is only 29 minutes away Napa or Sonoma. Bodega Bay too … Where are Alfred Hitchcock filmed The Birds! Great clam chowder too, and can see the beautiful Russian river too.
Overall Rognert Park is a great hub for seeing Napa and Sonoma.

Always remember in your planning for a trip (Google freeways, red/green/yellow and best ways) ......look at things as in the easiest ways to get to your destination. None lest make sure you look and visit lunch/dinner/snack locals! this will help where you're at, a time to relax and a place to enjoy the beautiful local/scenario or a picturesque Van Gogue that you can take pic. and enjoy for days to come.

I loved the staff, the cleanliness of the room and overall hotel. The price I paid was well worth the stay and a much nicer hotel than the neighboring hotels (Casino down the street included). We got free drink voucher and a full free breakfast. I was definitely stay again.

I needed to be in Santa Rosa for one full day, but had other chores in the area. Staying in Rohnert Park kept me out of the expensive "winery hotels" category, and served my purposes very well. I liked the convenience of Costco, Home Depot, and the fast food restaurants nearby.
Other than the area around the hotel, I didn't see any of the town of Rohnert Park, so can't comment on the tourism aspects.

It was very family-friendly there was a lot of things to do for families there was a lot of shopping areas for Shoppers there's a lot of food places for food people that like to eat I had a very great time in Rohnert Park I would recommend it for anybody
Charges a deposit and has that nowhere under information for the hotel online. So when I got there to pay and checkin it was a surprise. Then when I decided not to stay there as a result told me I’d have to get my refund through booking.com. It dosent seem I was charged but not a good first experience. Shouldn’t be charging customers a deposit if information isn’t being presented to the customer in the beginning.
Very disappointed. Hotel under construction, yet charged premium prices, had to move because of construction. Loud banging when trying to sleep.
I won't ever recommend booking.com or this hotel to anyone because of the misleading information
Absolutely terrible
The staff was friendly, beginning with a question about early check-in days before booking the room. We used the shuttle to get to our destination and back to the hotel and the driver was safe and kind. The cocktail hour and Bistro was a great time.
