Search hotels in Rocky Mount

I honestly just don't have a whole lot that I can say. I chose Rocky Mount as a stopping point during my drive home from Florida. All I did there was check into my hotel to get some sleep before getting on the road again in the morning. That's it! I'm sure it's a very nice town, but all I can say is it's a good stopover location if you're driving from Florida to DC.

Please do not take this hotel, the staff is combattive, and they won't let you check out, I was overcharged, and the sheets were dirty, the floors all cracked up, I would not offer this place as a hotel to anyone

I had Five adults traveling with me. looking.com describe the Rome having three beds that was not the case. In addition, I got stuck with a smoking room when I clearly asked for a non-smoking room that was totally unacceptable.

This place is absolutely horrible. I wouldn’t send my own worst enemies to stay at this place. It was absolutely filthy. Upon walking into the first room we were given, there was a huge brown stain on the bed. When given a second room to try, the smoke detector was completely missing from the wall, the bathroom was dirty and my daughters room next door to us smelled like weed and had remnants of it on the dresser. The pool was an emerald green color, there was trash all around the property. When we went to see if we could get our money back, the girl at the front desk called her manager and the manager said she’d be getting to work at 11pm to talk to us (it was 9:3pm), and we now needed to find a new place to stay so we didn’t have time to wait 1.5 hours for her to come in. She refused to talk with us on the phone. We asked the girl at the front desk what her managers name was and she said Stephanie, then we asked for her last name so we could call her the next day to get a refund and we were told “she doesn’t like to give that out”. How unprofessional is that, that the manager refused to give her name out. We weee thankfully able to find a clean place to stay down the road. I will never visit this place again and I hope no one else puts themselves through this mess either.

If you have kids playing basketball at the rocky mount sports center complex this is the best place. The facility is only about 10 minutes down the road. We could go play games in the morning, go back to the hotel and relax, then go back and play more games.

We got in late and were upgraded to another room. Maybe because someone needed the 2 queen beds. 1 king bed was great for us. Hotel was very clean. Nice help. Even the maids asked how our stay went. More than I exspected. After staying at another hotel up the street many times we decided to try Tru. We will be coming back here in the future.
