This hotel was clean. We slept well. Thanks to Bianca for supplying us with an extra blanket and pillow. We liked the overall design inside the hotel. Historical decorations and exhibits were very interesting. We definitely will stay again if in the area! Thank you!

Staff wasn't the I waited about 30 minutes to check in and out,, literally no one is on charge of this place 🙄
Plenty of shopping and restaurants in Rock Falls. You are definitely not short on options. If you’re looking for a good bar the Whiskey Barrel Saloon is worth checking out. You get your money’s worth with the food and beer there.

We chose this hotel because of its location along the Rock River. We requested and were lucky enough to have a river view, complete with a balcony; and it was warm enough to sit outside and enjoy it. (Did I mention the balcony was screened to keep the bugs out!) It was short, but we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
The walking path along the river was lovely. I had to kill time, and this was a very nice place to do it. The hotel was adequate, not amazing, but clean and comfortable as I had expected from the ratings.
The breakfast was very good especially since it was free.The staff were all very friendly to ME ALSO. I will surely return to this hotel next trip to RAT FALLS....
