Traveled to Raleigh for the Animazement Convention. We also visited the Raleigh Farmer's Market and gave ourselves a tour of NC State campus.
We got take-out at Jack's Seafood and Soul Food. Not as good as our last visit but the place was slammed so maybe that's why.
Getting around Raleigh is fairly easy with a navigation system.

Raleigh was great there were ten of us total, in the Marriott, we got around town fairly easy, beautiful city, Mariott was centrally located.
Parking was not easy anywhere as it was N C State graduation, but at the hotel, it is misrepresented, we were charged $15 per day in advance and you had to pay every time you left the garage or you could not get out, I ended up paying another 46.00. The restaurants we visited were upscale and beautiful, food was great!! Breakfast at the Hotel every morning was very nice and plentiful, and a great staff. I used Booking dot com. for my reservations and have yet to get a printed-out billing, had to pay upfront in advance, but the rest of our group booked right online with the Marriot and was able to get a copy of their billing.
I don't like that part, I should have received a detailed billing.

Location is perfect ,and its a good hotel.we just have one problem the toilet making too much noise kept running water specially at night you need to sleep but noise makes our stay not 100% perfect? We did told the staff but no resolution or they didn’t fix it?
Beautiful hotel, however, not worth just under $400 for one night. Booked only because it was the only hotel with availability for the night I stayed and within walking distance of the Red Hat Amphitheater, otherwise no way I would have ever paid that insane price. Room was nice, but nowhere near that nice. Basic two queen bed room with a bathroom, not a suite, beds were comfy but even so, rate was ridiculous.
This small boutique property has been lovingly built by the owner to offer a very unique, comfortable and welcoming accomodation option close to downtown Raleigh. It was a haven for a night in a busy schedule and John was so helpful and friendly, providing exceptional advice on restaurants and coffee shops in the gorgeous historical neighbourhood.
