The Graduate is in the original Biltmore hotel building in downtown Providence. It's in a great location that's very close to local attractions, such as the Providence Performing Arts Center and the Providence Place Mall. The room was well appointed and the bed was very comfortable. The HVAC worked well to keep the room comfortably cool.

I liked that they let us switch rooms bcuz the first room we were put in was way in the annex in the back and was super depressing and had a view of the alley with garbage.

The location of this property was perfect for my needs as I was taking the AMTRAK to NYC the next morning. The staff was very friendly and efficient and made me feel welcome. I had also taken them up on their suggestion to dine at their restaurant on the property and it was also a terrific experience.

Excellent location downtown. Easy walk to a dozen or more good restaurants, and other amenities. Apparently a former bank building. Good, free shuttle service too. But it only runs from 7 AM until 10 PM, so if you get into the airport later than that or need to arrive earlier than that, you have to take a taxi or Uber. Staff were friendly and helpful.

Extended Stay America Suites - Providence is offering accommodations in Providence. The 3-star hotel has air-conditioned rooms with a private bathroom and free WiFi.
Very walkable city. Several college campuses to explore and some museums. They like to promote their Waterfire but I've visited twice now in September and just not available.
Great restaurants with lots of variety - really enjoyed the food (would compare favorably with NY and Philadelphia).

If you love colonial architecture AND a progressive, hip, artistic atmosphere at the same time, visit Providence! I’ve been several times in the last few years (my kid is in school there) and haven’t yet run out of things to see and foods to try. It’s not a big city, but it’s culturally rich.

Incredible beautiful old city with tons of charm and character. Tons of landmarks to remark upon, So much to do and not enough time to do it all. Also the home of weird fiction writer H.P. Lovecraft, so amazing to walk in his vision from his writings. Will for sure be back!

I was surprised by Providence.
I was surprised by Providence. We went for a show but walked around much of the city. We had two wonderful meals in the Federal Hill section. Things weren’t too busy. The college area is very beautiful and we got into the RISD museum for free since we went on a Sunday. It was great! The city itself is about the same cost from our house to Boston but is much easier to get to and less hectic.

RISD museum is a terrific place to see a lot of art in one day. Getting around Providence by car is a challenge as there is a lot of roadwork ongoing and streets tend to be narrow in Federal Hill. We still have yet to hit an above average restaurant in Providence.

The King Suite was amazing and perfectly set up.
The King Suite was amazing and perfectly set up. It had plenty of space and 2 separate ac/heat units so we were able to keep both rooms at the perfect temps. The shower was great for pressure and hot water settings. The room had 2 big tv’s and living room side had plenty of seats and a great couch as well.
There is a club attached to the hotel with live music which was great and the hotel had a small bar with an amazing Bartender. He was funny and could hold a great conversation with all of us at the bar of all ages. The price for drinks wasn’t too bad either.
Some of the things I didn’t like was the pricey breakfast as they do not have a buffet style you have to order individual items off a menu. It cost us $50 for 2 people to have breakfast and a coffee. Also the pillows on the bed were not that great, they could use an upgrade for the price you pay to stay here.
All in all it was a fun hotel stay and was great to see all the staff smiling and willing to help/answer anyone’s questions. The hotel is run by good people you can tell by the quality of the staff. We will definitely be coming back on our next trip back to RI.
This hotel is a very classic grab right in downtown Providence. The hotel lobby immediately welcomes you with its chique 1920's vibe. Our room was the King Suite with an adjacent living room area. Very spacious and very good quality. Hotel staff was friendly and allowed us to check out a little later than agreed.
