Was supposed to be a stay over, but we ended up with car trouble and every single person we dealt with was so pleasant and helpful! There were not many places open on a Saturday morning, but the people (Cherryl-Ann) at Friendship Hyundai went above and beyond to get us back on the road. She got us a ride to Enterprise, did all the paperwork on getting our car fixed on the way back from our trip. If they are any indication of how great of a little town that is, I will visit every time I can!

Princeton is the perfect spot for travelers heading out of Virginia and into the mountains of West Virginia. Located at the intersection of three main gateways this growing small city has everything to offer. The Welcome Center has lots of information on all the natural beauty spots to see if staying for any length of time. The people of WV and Princeton are always willing to help out any traveler to guide them towards the parks and river ways. Highly recommend a drive to view the New River Gorge Bridge located in near by Fayetteville, WV.

We were just staying for the night for an event.
We were just staying for the night for an event. It's a small city. There are plenty of restaurants to eat at from low end fast food to nicer places. Plenty of places to fuel up. I've been to Princeton many times. If you love scenic views and nature, you'll love it.

Princeton itself is a nice place.
Princeton itself is a nice place. Not much there quaint small town. People there don't seem too friendly. Not much to do there. Not a tourist area. Good for relaxing and just enjoying the scenery. Dolly's is a little 50s type Diner with great diner food. That was my favorite restaurant to eat at. Definitely do not stay at the Days Inn hotel. You would be better off sleeping in your car.

There was no breakfast as advertised, I always choose hotels with breakfast so I don’t have to lose more time going to restaurants. The facility is a hell hole, no glasses in the room, no ice bucket, two towels for three adults. The grounds outside are dirty and have dangerous walking areas. I had to make multiple trips to the front desk to retrieve our needs. A bag breakfast that I have to go pick up myself with Dollar Tree food in it. And please don’t say it is Covid, the desk clerk told me if I wanted glasses to take them off the public area coffee stand, like that is sanitary? I was embarrassed that I advised my daughters family to stay here on our travels back home from NC. She had young children and had to experience this. If you want to act like a budget motel then charge budget prices! Then I would know to avoid Days Inn.

There were not enough pillows and they were small.
There were not enough pillows and they were small. The local tv channels were not working in our room. The front desk worker said that was true in all rooms. The next morning the front desk worker said that was not true we could have been moved to another room where the channels worked.

The entire property was clean and appeared well maintained. The room was spacious for two and the small amenities like a microwave and mini-fridge really did bring a higher value to our stay. The hotel staff was pleasant and very helpful.
Great hotel right off the highway. Plenty of restaurants nearby to grab a meal. Breakfast provided was great. Very clean. Check in was quick, staff was really nice!
