The Cottage was a lovely place for my quick, one night stay. The room was super clean and the bed and pillows were so comfortable. I loved the quiet and peaceful location and vibe. I just wish I had been able to stay longer. I hope to be back again in the future!

It is clear the owners took an old hotel and made the effort to make it nice. That being said, it does not have the cookie-cutter, corporate feel of most hotels.

This super host really thought of everything. It is perfect location close to casino, but in a quiet tranquil neighborhood. The pool was relaxing. The robes were super cozy and if you are spending time at the Norwich Spa, this property is a nice extension of the calm and tranquil spa vibe. We have stayed at spa in the past, but the rooms are in need of renovations. We would definitely stay again here again. Oh, and I love the fact the unit is keyless!

We came for a night mini moon stay after our wedding. The grounds were beautiful and it was a peaceful and quiet stay. We will be back.

We booked a suite with a sitting area but I thought it also had access to the outside patio or balcony like all the rooms.
It did not and was musty and dark. They graciously moved us to another room that was just a 2 queen beds with outdoor patio non suite but would not refund the difference even though it was a smaller room....altgough the room was much brighter and airy and not musty. Until I saw the bathroom shower was disgusting disgusting. I found a few bugs in the bedroom. Location was great and price was right for the stay. Pool was ok

The pool was large, there was a hot tub and the room did not smell heavily of chlorine. The hotel served drinks in a small bar until midnight. The breakfast was good for children and adults though the could have been a few more healthy choices.

It was fine until we checked in and got to our room. I went to use the bathroom and the bathroom sink was clogged. We went down to the front lobby and the Manager said that they were going to send someone up to fix it. After we finished eating dinner at the restaurant the Manager told us that we would have to change rooms. So we got another room that was on another floor. We got to the new room and the refrigerator was not working! :(
To say the least nothing was done for us and no discount off the rooms! We stayed for 2 nights. Was glad to leave.

I try to go with the flow whenever possible. Life is full of unexpected twists and turns, and sometimes the best thing we can do is just let go of our expectations and trust that everything will work out in the end. Of course, that's easier said than done, but I find that the more I practice going with the flow, the easier it becomes. It's a mindset that allows me to approach challenges with more flexibility and creativity, and to find joy in the unexpected moments that make life so special. So, if you're feeling stuck or overwhelmed, take a deep breath and try to go with the flow. You never know where it might take you!

The beds were comfortable and the shower was great.
The beds were comfortable and the shower was great. The lighting was too dim in the room even with all the lamps on. Our temperature control was a little wacky so it wasn't working properly. We checked in about 6 pm and checked out 11 am the next day so we didn't use or explore the facilities as we should to be able to give an actual review. I only noticed one fire pit, maybe that would be a suggestion that you should have more , especially during the pandemic, but then again we didn't stay long enough to really know what other amenities there was.
We loved this hotel! The room was modern, and the beds were comfortable. The pool and hot tub were very relaxing! The drive toe Foxwoods was about 8 miles. Nice stay in the country! Would stay here again!
