Location was ideal. Walkable to everything in Port Townsend. The building was historic...very cool....but means the rooms have had renos. We chose a room that slept 4, with a separate bedroom to allow for privacy. The beds were comfy and clean. Washroom was large and well equipped. Kitchen was well equipped.
I love historic buildings....those who prefer modern luxury would likely prefer something else. I would stay again.

The character of the hotel delightful. It is very much a boutique hotel. The location is perfect for visiting the city centre.

We were visiting family, who've lived there for decades, through the holidays. Enjoy roaming our old "stomping grounds." Real estate is just too pricey to live closer to aging relatives.

Port Townsend is one of my family’s favorite destinations. Beautiful location on the water, lots of options for things to do and see (history; arts; antique mall; museums), excellent variety of restaurants and great shopping (upper and lower town). Great town for walking also.

Wonderful restuarants - moderate pricing for huge meals which we were able to share or box up for later.
Wonderful Rose Movie Theater - Starlight Room on the top floor for viewing artsy movies, an amazing venue with comfy sofas and huge bowls of popcorn!
Lots to see and do in Port Townsend, beautiful parks, walks on the beach, marinas, boatyard and Fort Worden. We'll definitely visit again.

Port Townsend is also convenient for your travel need of groceries and dining. FORT WORDEN HISTORICAL STATE PARK is a multi-functional recreation area for visitors, hikers, campers and photographers. There are several short trails to hike to the eastern or western side of beaches where the sightings of deer groups(strolling along the beach and even playing in the sea water) and bald eagles (often standing on the drift woods) are frequent. The iconic Point Wilson Lighthouse is located at the north eastern cape of the park, the washroom facility across the RV campsite provides the epic photo spot to include the snow-capped Mt Baker as backdrop (telephoto lens > 150mm).

Nice walkable town with lots of local shops, art galleries, wine bars and plenty of food. Most places close by 5 or 9pm so plan accordingly. There is a nice marina and small theater. Rent a kayak and enjoy the Puget Sound on a nice day.
