The rooms were very old and dirty, there were white spots on the bed linen (I don't want to know what it is) there was dust everywhere and the bathroom was also filthy (mold on the shower curtain, dirty mirror and after using the shower the water in the tap was leaking for two days). The breakfast was very ordinary and not healthy, except for the fruit. We couldn't open the gym with our weekend cards and the jacuzzi was pretty dirty. 😢 I worked in a separate field for half my life and for such cleaning I would fire all my maids. I sincerely don't understand where such a price for accommodation came from, because near the ocean in my city Daytona the price for a hotel is about $55 2 minutes from the ocean and restaurants.
I am very sorry that the owners do not have the money or desire to maintain their hotel. I wish them change.

What I loved the most was the cleaness in the room and how organized everything was. I had bad experience in fancy hotels with bedbugs, so my main concern was walking into the same experience, but NO, it was a great and pleasant experience. All I can say is keep up the great work guys the employees and the cleaning ladies are 100%. Love you all, and God bless you.

Plant City has a long rich history of family owned farms and businesses. The strawberry history and local pride for the city is everywhere. It's a city large enough to offer what you need and still keep the down home country feel. I hope the folks there never stop saying Sir & Ma'am.
Make sure to stop in at Fred's market for a good home cooked meal and The Parkesdale Market for everything strawberry. It doesn't get more "family" and "down home" than these two places.

i enjoyed our stay in plant city.we went there to visit my son. there are so many restaurants to enjoy.we went shopping so many places to go we went to a nearby nature reserve with miles of hiking. we went to a wonderful mall in bradeton also beaches not to far away. enjoyed every minute of our stay in plant city. it was nice to come back to our comfortable hotel at the end of a long day!

Plant City is a nice town.
Plant City is a nice town. We were there to attend the Reba concert at the strawberry festival. There were plenty of places to eat. The Holiday Inn Express is a wonderful place to stay. The event was easy to find and the locals were very friendly. 🍓

The hotel was a hot mess but the cleaning lady did an awesome job. The check in people accommodated to our comfortability. They had a lot of sketchy people there. Said they was workers from Guatemala. Hotel is under construction. Overall nice enough place.
