We are from St. Louis and came to Pittsburgh to take our grandson to the Cardinals/Pirates game. PNC park was great. We were so impressed with Pittsburgh. It is beautiful around the three rivers. There tons of restaurant choices and other activities.

The Landing Hotel is a great place to stay! The rooms are roomy, comfortable, modern and great lighting! Breakfast is nice. The valet service is great! Front desk is great! The location is perfect! You can walk to PNC Park, the Steelers Stadium, the River walk… lots of things to do nearby! The casino is nice too aside from not having a self service drink station like all other casinos I visit… A great place to stay! We ate at the WheelHouse and enjoyed the half price appetizers during happy hour!

We were staying one night as we were going across the country. We did the “Just the Tour” double decker bus (parked in the Furnace parking ramp). Make sure you scan QRcode immediately to initiate your parking ramp time, so when you get back, you can pay it properly. We did not do that, so we had problems. I did email them for help on getting the right amount paid. All the ramps in that area appear to be run by the same company.
We are at Primanti’s- famous sandwiches and craft beer. Very good!
We stayed at Even Hotel and parked in Forbes parking ramp across the street from Even Hotel.
( Forbes ramp, you get a ticket then pay with that ticket when you eventually leave the ramp).
The Even Hotel has the lobby on the 5th floor.
We walked to a night time Pittsburgh Pirates baseball game. It is a beautiful park with a stunning view of downtown Pittsburgh and a beautiful yellow bridge.
We considered staying at a Drury Inn, which would be walkable also. The Renaissance Hotel is the nearest hotel to the baseball diamond. My brother has enjoyed that hotel in the past.

Within the "big city"... was difficult navigating (I live in surburbia city-traffic, parking and driving were challenging.
Having said that, the hotel Valet Parking option was an enormous help to me. Pleasant staff, always helpful and always there to assist.

A very walkable city, with prompt bus service(s) if that works better for you. PGH has earned the reputation as a great sports town, and, I would add, a very good beer town as well! I look forward to a future trip back to the Steel City (there are many more breweries that I was unable to visit due to time constraints).
The hotel is located next to a main street, from 06:00 o'clock onwards you can hear the traffic. But it's not problematic at all, 'cause the glas of the windows is pretty strong. The breakfast buffet is nice, but the breakfast room is quiet small and has not enough tables. But, if you go a little bit ealier or later, you'll find a nice spot. Next to the hotel is a bus station with a direct connection to the city center of Pittsburgh. Bus ride maby ten minutes. If you stay in Pittsburgh, I can highly recomand the hotel
You know -- with every hotel there is always someone or somebody who has a terrible visit.
But we didn't. We really liked this place. It's right across the baseball field, down the street from the football field, and only a 15-20 minute walk from downtown. + there is a subway station nearby,
Staff was fantastic.
Parking was no problem. The hotel has an interesting history, good for the atmosphere, right in the middle of Germantown. You can walk to The Andy Warhol Museum and go on over the bridge to Downtown.
