We loved everything about the place. The beach accessed the pool, and the hot tub felt amazing . The penthouse was very clean and comfortable. It had everything you needed, even stuff for the beach.

Great location.. so close to everything. Plenty of supplies were available including dishes and cooking utensils. Even we're able to see dolphins close to the beach each morning Highly recommend and will be looking to return in the future
Located in Pensacola Beach, The Pensacola Beach Resort features an outdoor pool and on-site restaurant. All rooms have free WiFi, and the resort is 1969 feet from Pensacola Beach Gulf Pier.
There are 2 people that stood out. Our first encounter soon after arriving was Lonnie, the Maintenance Man. We went to look at the pool area & it was not open just yet. He was so friendly & let us know the opening time. At the same time there was an obviously drunk man giving him grief because it wasn’t open. The way Lonnie handled him was so professional & loving at the same time. Each time we encountered Lonnie over the next 4 days, he always greeted us & made us feel so wonderful staying at the property.
The second outstanding person was Miss Elizabeth who oversaw the daily breakfast. Aside from the breakfast being outstanding, she was so good at making sure everything was kept up & in order. Lonnie had mentioned to us adding blueberries in their waffle makers. I thought they had them available but found out from Ms. Elizabeth they didn’t have them all the time. She went to the market later that day to purchase her needed breakfast items & made it a point of getting blueberries. She held them back & when she saw us the next morning, gave them to us. That’s called above & beyond personal outstanding service.
Everything you wanted from the beach, access to stores was easy to walk to from the perfectly located hotel. We travel a lot & stay in name brand hotels or Airbnb. Surf & Sand stands out with excellence against any of those. The beds were very comfortable & gave a great night’s sleep to all 3 of us. (Husband, wife & adult son). Can’t recommend Surf & Sand high enough.

I wasn’t impressed about Pensacola! I can’t think of much I liked! I didn’t like the area I stayed! It looked run down! I didn’t like that restaurants and malls were 20-25 minutes from booked area! I probably won’t visit again. We ate at Longhorns and service was great and food was good! No complaints there! We also had Chick Fil A it was okay to fill a hunger! It was always crowded and congested there! It was frustrating traveling so far to get to restaurants/malls

Water was beautiful as was the view from my room. The sunset was spectacular over the bay. Lots of restaurants and shopping areas. Lifeguards were very attentive and monitored swimmers and surfers so they were safe. Large public bathrooms with plenty of space to change.

I think the only thing that would have made it better would...
I think the only thing that would have made it better would be if they had all of the outside activities setup but it also happened to be the same weekend that there was a Beer Festival? We are from New Orleans so we were expecting something similar and much bigger. There was about 6 tents set up with a live band and the really neat thing was the Bagpipe players! All in all you really don’t need to go far if you stay there because you have everything you need on site!

We love Pensacola Beach! It is so beautiful and clean. We always go in the Spring so it is not crowded at all. We also love staying at the Pensacola Beach Resort. It is a beautiful property and the staff are wonderful!! We could not ask for a better Spring Break!

It was a beautiful place to relax on the beach or by the pool. We rented a golf cart to go in town to shop and have lunch, which was fun. The restaurants at the resort were pretty good, but there was a limited menu. We ubered to local restaurants most of the nights, which worked out; but you might consider renting a car.

This was a nice hotel. The room was good and the bed was comfortable. I asked for an upgrade, but was refused. It was ok, I was told that the hotel was full. To me, the hotel didn't look fully booked.

The staff was very professional and helpful.
This hotel is my wife and I favorite place to stay at when we come to stay at. We love everything about it!! The food is really good, we love the lazy river and the staff is amazing! Also love when you're on the ocean side and when you open the door, you can smell the food! 😋
Great location, good value for the price. The room was clean, but the floors were a little slippery, perhaps from whatever was used to clean them. Water pressure is too low. Very friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast was typical economy hotel fare.
