Now living in Nevada, I resided in the Bay Area for over half a century before relocating. Pacifica is my “go-to” when I need to find the peace that only the ocean and its gorgeous naturally carved coast line offers. There are decent hotels, a wide variety of restaurants within short driving distances, gorgeous views abound and it’s always easy to find organic diversions(beaches, tide pools, historic landmarks) if the feeling strikes. But if you’re in the mood to simply be left alone, that’s an option too.

Pacifica is a great spot to stay. Lovely italian restaurant that made the best pizza and staff who were so friendly and eager to please.
Pacifica is close to a lovely lookout where you can see the most magnificent sunsets and views of the Golden Gate Bridge.

Street is just off the highway making it easy to find. Far enough down the road that you don't see or hear anything from the highway. Beach access at the end of the road. Very close to the local Moose Lodge! Everything was easy to get to from the house.

This was my first home property rental from Bookings.com.
This was my first home property rental from Bookings.com. Although the photos of the property were fantastic, there is always a fear that the photos were staged… but the photos presented were exactly as the home looked. The only thing that I wished Bookings.com would list on the property is that it has 3-full bathrooms. A definite PLUS feature.

The location is so beautiful! So close to the beach and we could see the ocean from our window. The young man at the check in was wonderful and told us that whales were active, and we went to the beach and saw one of the most amazing scenes I have ever seen of leaping whales! They are not there all the time, but I was amazed at how active they were.
There are good restaurants near the hotel, and it is an easy drive to the BART station and city.
We enjoyed our stay to the fullest. Nice fresh and clean room, tasty breakfast with lots of choices (missing fruits & veggies though). Parking is free. Beach is right in front of the hotel. Sunsets are breathtaking. 15-min drive to San Francisco, 2-hour drive to Monterrey. Whenever in Northern Cali, we will stay here. Thank you!
