The roadway seem to be a bit confusing so don't be afraid to ask for help. People in Omaha are nice and helpful

I am not a big fan of large cities. I go there when there is something specific I need to do such as education for my business. Omaha is not a place I visit just because, but it is better than larger cities. Nothing specific against the city and surrounding communities, I'm just a country girl.

I came for a family wedding but learned that there is a highly rated zoo, a noted baseball stadium, and some areas that I did not get to that are worth exploring. All of the food that I had was excellent. Service everywhere I went was thoughtful, attentive, and efficient. I had noticed a drop off in the level of service in other places but not in Omaha! I was glad that I had family members driving me. If you are driving and are not already familiar with the city Make sure you have a good navigation system that will tell you which lane to be in for any upcoming transition so you do not have to make last minute lane changes.

Everything is accessible even if you want to drive to locations!
Aksarben Village in itself has everything fun to do.... especially if you are short on time...
I highly recommend Aloft in Aksarben Village!

The zoo is a must!
The zoo is a must! We spent two days exploring there and could have added a third. Luminarium was great for all ages. And of course, the food was amazing, be sure to check out Railcar Modern Kitchen, Noli's Pizzeria and Coneflower Creamery for the best ice cream.

This was my first time to Omaha and Nebraska itself. The drivers in Nebraska are HORRIBLE. This makes sense considering the people are RUDE AS HELL! Didn’t come across a single friendly Nebraskan my entire time there. You would think they all hate their life or something. Honestly, skip Nebraska and go to Colorado. Better food, cooler people, and a much more pleasant vibe. Pretty scenery though.

This budget friendly property is easily located from I-80 and is less than ten miles from the zoo. It has ample parking to accommodate parties traveling with more than one vehicle. It offers good value for those who aren't interested in paying for a fancy location or surroundings. Our room was large enough to accommodate a comfortable arm chair--always a nice addition to the ubiquitous hotel room desk chair. The king size bed was very comfortable. Has washer and dryer for guest use.
The location of the hotel was ideal for us, close to the CHI centre, park, Old Market, restaurants, bars etc... We were able to check in really early which was convenient.
Receptionists were client-focused, took care of my safety, offered me the shuttle service to nearby restaurants and Airport. My room was ok, linen and towels were clean.
