A lot nicer than I realized. The skyline was beautiful, the people were nice. We went to Bricktown which was a lot of fun and had a lot of different activities and experiences for people. I would recommend again, especially to Texans who arent too far away for a small get-away.

A lot to do in this city! So much history and culture.
A lot to do in this city! So much history and culture. We visited the American Banjo museum. I learnt quit a bit about this instrument and it's contribution to American history. The botanical garden is also beautiful.
Stopped at The Garage for burgers and fries - delicious! And ice cream at Boom Town- they make their own ice cream in small batches- a taste of heaven!

The Candlewood Hotel is well located close to Bricktown..
The Candlewood Hotel is well located close to Bricktown..They offer a night schuttle. There is so much to do here but we only had one day so we took the water boat tour which I highly recommend if you like to know the history of the area. Bricktown is a very safe place to walk around by yourself or with your family. Fun things to do with the kids.
Looking forward to coming back someday.

People here are very sweet and friendly.
People here are very sweet and friendly.
Small downtown that is clean and walkable, although it was hot.
Great quality food and bars. Just walking around and poking my head into a few dives, I saw 5 different bands and performances in 2 nights. What a surprise.
Every bar / restaurant the staffs are friendly, and super nice.
People are helpful with foodie recommendations to eat or visit.
I ate breakfast at Kitchen 324, downtown. Clean, in house fresh made everything, local fresh farm eggs, the works. Super awesome friendly staff. Go there.
I saw many food trucks downtown that looked awesome. Cooking in over 100° heat, but with good lines at each one. Impressive.
I wish I had more time to explore the historical places, both good and bad. I will plan for more time another trio.

Hotel is clean the staff was somewhat friendly, I had a problem with the fact that they allowed someone even though I knew that person they were not allowed or told that they could have a key to my room and they let someone basically just walk up and get two keys and access to my room without contacting me without my approval therefore I had given my opinion and expressed my feelings about that to the general manager and when I went to go try to extend my stay, which I had no problem doing previous to that the GM had left a note on my account saying I could no longer extend my stay there so I guess if you wanna stay here and at risk of anyone being able to get inside your room without being ID or without your permission, then that would be the place for you however it was not the place for me and I was very offended by expressing my opinion that I felt violated and at risk of my items getting stolen or someone being in my room that I did not want that by expressing that opinion, they would not allow me to stay there any longer. And I spent $1500 with this hotel.

too dirty the sheets were disgusting I could not shower in the morning since the tub was disgusting Yellow water came out of the tap the room had an unpleasant smell I would never stay here again even for free it is something very uncomfortable this hotel do not make this mistake of stay even an hour here -5 stars
Not much to like, arrived and learn that the hotel was sold 4 days ago. It was not a Hyatt. First room that was given to us was a mess, carpet was stain with wine, smell like mold. Second room was as bad and the last one was ok to stay.
Breakfast was poor , no hot water for tea, and very little to eat.
