Love how convenient the location was, right next to the freeway, a gas station, stores and restaurants. The customer service was phenomenal. Was greeted by Omar. He made the check in so easy and was very welcoming! Rooms were very clean and comfortable.

We were really looking forward to a relaxing night at Spring Hill Suits in Oceanside but unfortunately, the experience fell far short of expectations. Our room was uncomfortably close to the train tracks, and the noise was unbearable. Trains roared by so frequently and loudly that it felt like they were running right through the room.
We tried to stick it out, but by 10 PM, we gave up, packed our bags, and drove home. A quiet and restful stay was what we expected, but the constant noise made it impossible to unwind. If you’re sensitive to sound or value your sleep, I’d recommend confirming your room location before booking—or considering another hotel altogether.

Loved the availability of restaurants, Japanese, Thai, Pizza, Wings, Italian, Seafood, so much to pick from. The view from the tier was absolutely gorgeous. I would most definitely want to visit when a little warmer. This year 2025 was a bit cool, but did not discourage walking or sitting outside enjoying the view.

Oceanside is a cute little beach town with less crowds and traffic than other areas nearby.
It is easy to visit Carlsbad which is right next door. There is Mission San Luis Rey which is filled with historical facts.The marina area has lazy seals to photograph.

Oceanside itself was ok....completely getting run down by the ammount of homelessness and drugs and drug addicts on the streets. Very sad considering I've lived in Southern California my whole life pretty much, finally had to move out of state.

Oceanside has a lot of really fine beaches.
Oceanside has a lot of really fine beaches. Oceanside has more surf contests tha any other city in San Diego County. The people always seem friendly and willing to talk. There are more things to do in Oceanside than most of all the other cities in San Diego County except Mission Beach almost 40 miles to the south. For shopping the Oceanside/Carlsbad corrider is in a league of its own. To go to the Wild Animal Farm Oceanside is only a hop skype and jump away, In the winter great skiing is only 1 1/2 hours away. With Oceanside you can go surfing in great waves in the morning and skiing on great slopes in the afternoon and evening. No place else can you do that.

This hotel had some crazy mixed reviews that I read about only after booking. I became a little skeptical about staying there but it was booked and so we went .. Having arrived there, the parking and hotel were nice and very inviting. The front desk staff was polite, helpful and informed us of the hotels policies. Once we got checked into our room we found it to be very spacious for a "King Bed" suite and all of our room amenities worked as they should .. I will say the rooms do feel a little older or out dated but really didn't affect our stay .. we were here to enjoy the beach and the fresh air. They also offer a little breakfast bar with some coffee, Danish, granola bars and some fuirt that allows you to grab a quick bite on the go . My overall opinion of this place is good, the price was fair, parking was plenty, the rooms were nice and the hotel was easy to get to ..

Was easy on and off highway, as well as having some local places to eat. Denny's was really close by. My grandson, who I was visiting did all the driving and was able to maneuver the highway. Over all was a lovely vacation.

Breakfast was a little lacking in variety, waffle making machine was fun, sausages were awful, need better fruit options. We had a queen twin room, great size, pillows could be better. Location is as fabulous as we needed to be close to Camp Pendleton base, was close to Oceanside harbour which was a nice play to visit and eat out. Petrol station next door and parking onsite at hotel. The staff couldn’t do more for us. Would stay again.
So clean, fresh, comfy and personalised. The location is right on the beach and a short walk from town!!! The communal deck in right on the beach! Will stay here again! Communication was excellent
Close the marina and right at the access point to I-5. The location is convenience for where I'm going. Rate is under $200, not cheap but for peak SD season it's ok. Very close to a military camp.
The location was ideal. A quiet peaceful area near the beach. The house was clean and everything we needed was there. Having a garage for the car was a bonus.
