Very roomy suite, modern. Well-equipped full kitchen with stove, and microwave. Plenty of dishes, cups, glasses, silverware. Might want to bring a large kettle and a favorite frying pan. Full-sized refrigerator and dishwasher. Excellent location — only a 4-minute walk to the central boardwalk district. We enjoyed the balcony, Very comfortable living room furniture, and nice dining area table that seats a family. We found off-boardwalk good restaurants nearby restaurants. Really enjoyed Ready's Coffee & Lunch (lots of locals eat here--- good breakfast at a good price) on 8th St and Augie's Omelet & Waffle House right down the street on 9th.

We loved early morning walks down the boardwalk for exercise and to view the sunrise. Ready's Coffee Shop on 8th St and Augie's Pancake House on 9th Street are both excellent breakfast options. Ready's is a real local restaurant with good prices and a local following.. Bennie's Breads is a great bakery with eat-in and take-out main, salad, and dessert courses. They have excellent bread!

Ocean City in mid-October is quiet, but still alive.

Ocean City in mid-October is quiet, but still alive. Many establishments are closed, especially mid-week. Some are closed for the season. We were able, nevertheless, to find good places to eat, and the beach and ocean are always there, though swimming would be a challenge unless you're a polar bear! If we had to do it over again, we would avoid traveling on the Monday of a holiday weekend. We encountered some annoying traffic delays.

The town is small and we were able to walk or bike to most of the places we wanted to visit. The boardwalk is wide and long and maintained well. I love riding my bike on it in the mornings and walking on it and shopping in the evenings. Asbury Avenue is also a fun place to shop during the day. We like to get our breakfast at Augie's. They have your basic diner breakfast items and also some healthy items.

I enjoyed the golf course and visiting my family.

I enjoyed the golf course and visiting my family. We had one good day at the beach and a couple cold and cloudy days. The Boardwalk was nice because the city police keep an eye out for troublemakers from the ghetto. It is a shame that the amusement park is closing, but it keeps the ghetto people away.

I’ve been going to OCNJ all of my life (50+ years).

I’ve been going to OCNJ all of my life (50+ years). Some things have changed but the overall vibe of the island has not. It’s perfect for families or childless cat dads like myself. Plenty of dinning options, both on-island and on the boardwalk… I always leave wishing I could’ve stayed longer :(

I love Ocean City. The boardwalk has much to offer.

I love Ocean City. The boardwalk has much to offer. Rides for all age groups, games, an abundance of mini-golf, shopping, and many choices in food options. It’s family friendly with a nice beach. The drawback is having to pay for access to the beach which can be costly for a large family. Most hotels do offer free tags if you stay there.

The location is amazing! We stayed just one night and while it was raining like crazy and the end of winter, some shops were still open (and the ocean is beautiful no matter what time of year). The hotel is absolutely gorgeous- loved the small kitchen we had! Would definitely consider staying more days over the summer.
