Hello my name is Tiara Weems and I am currently a guest at Homewood Suites. Upon arrival my stay has not been okay for me. 1) I booked for a Studio accidentally (wanting a One Bedroom) . I understand this was my fault and I was unable to get a refund and go to another room due to me booking through a 3rd company site. 2) However upon entry to my room . The room was not as clean how it should’ve been (from my prior visit) crumbs, trash in waste basket, dirty counter tops. 3) I tried to overlook it and enjoy my stay/birthday weekend but the jacuzzi has been extremely cold (one of my most important AMENTIES). 2 of your guest (Morriseia and Zak) took a look and went into the boiler/mechanical room on 2 separate days and still a cold jacuzzi. 4) Breakfast is suppose to be served from 7am-10am on Weekends but breakfast was stopped at 9:30. 5) I have had to get FOUR room keys remade . None of these keys work and I am currently locked outside of my room. One of the workers used an emergency override but that doesn’t work and she has to call maintenance (which is not here on Sundays). This has been a very unpleasant and very disappointing stay for me . For myself to be a returning guest a lot I feel this will be last stay and I would also like these problems to be addressed.

The room was really clean! The bed was super comfortable! Did not care for the way bathroom was set up, but do-able and it was very clean. When we arrived at front desk, the clerk was not that friendly. I had a special circumstance concerning the booking of the room, and she did not give me a chance to explain, before she said firmly, No we do not do that! I then asked her to please look and see if my room was booked for an extra night (which when I called before we came, whoever I talked to said she would note my reservation). When she looked, she said "oh" ok. I just did not like her tone when we arrived. Everything else was super, including the breakfast.

The hotel is not a real Hilton hotel. I had to change rooms (2) twice . The rooms smelled like a frat dorm (stunk) and some lights did not work in the other room. Exchanged rooms still smelled like the carpets had not been cleaned on a while. They charged my daughter $200 saying we trashed the rooms. We were the only black visitors and I didn’t appreciate how the catagorized my black family. We did not trash the room! The manager Ray was very nasty and condescending when I called about them keeping our deposit for wallpaper that was already peeling and one quarter sized spill on their already dirt carpet. Do it stay in this hotel if you are a black family…or any family for that matter. This was my granddaughter’s sixteenth birthday and is was totally ruined by the room and the unprofessional behavior of the staff. I saw more than one family coming down to the front desk to complain about their room.

They were clean friendly fast quiet .Very helpful when we had questions. Wonderful place to stay. I would send anyone looking to use hotel that one.Thank all of the people who work there. AAA+ PLACE TO GO.

I really enjoyed Novi. It was a nice place to visit and I will be visiting again. I will never stay at the Double Tree/ Hilton in Novi though as it did not off much, the rooms were old, dim, dusty, and did not have food or room service.

Biggest dive of a hotel I've ever seen if it's a four points by Marriott I can't believe it is it needs to be reevaluated in the sign needs to come down that owner is a foreigner and he is a money grubber Steeler thief wants to charge me $2.43 to upgrade my room I'll see you later I'm out kiss my butt goodbye I wouldn't stay there if it was the last hotel and Baghdad
