    1) Confirmed property was pet friendly with Candlewood Suites but was told post check-in they do not accept cats. I attempted to show the Property Manager the confirmation email I had received but she said "I don't want to look at it." 2) Bathroom toilet would not flush properly the second time it was used. Reported to the Front Desk the evening of the first night of stay and did not see a Maintenance person until 10:00 AM the following day. Once Maintenance was there, they flooded the bathroom floor by overusing a plunger. The Property Manager blamed the flooding on me, even though it was their Maintenance staff who was responsible. The Maintenance person said I had flushed cat litter down the toilet although I certainly did not. The Property Manager charged me for the full stay and would not refund any monies. She gave me an hour to leave the hotel or she would "call the authorities." I had to secure another hotel when that weekend was college graduation and Mother's Day. I am a handicapped senior citizen and this experience was horrific. The Property Manager would not refund any monies on this stay as she said I caused the damage due to the flooding although there was no damage. She said "Well, there could have been." And, again, their Maintenance person caused the flooding. When I was vacating the property, I sat for a moment in the main lounge. Another woman was sitting there, and the Property Manager apologized to her for the problem she had with the plumbing and thanked her for waiting while they prepared another room. Apparently, I wasn't the only guest who had issues. I attempted to return the room card keys to the Property Manager and was told "Don't make a big deal out of it." REALLY? REALLY? Additionally, the property did not provide me with a copy of the bill. I am contemplating filing a lawsuit over these issues.

Convenient location to major highways - whether going west to Rochester on I90 or I81 north or south or simply overnighting waiting for flights. If visiting Syracuse, easy to get to downtown; Destiny Mall; Finger Lakes Outlets in Waterloo.

It took an hour and 10 minutes to register us and get to our room that was a downgrade! It was smaller, and no sleeper sofa. I slept in the recliner! The bathroom was clean and functioning. 9 people in front of us 3 got down graded. Staff couldn’t handle the booking problem! When the 11pm -12 pm staff arrived they were much better got 4 people through offering two rooms since suites were booked but not available. We were promised a full refund but, I have not even been given a partial yet.

Nothing to like as I felt sick bringing my family to such a disgusting place. There is literally not one good thing about this hotel. Do not stay here if you care about cleanliness in even the tiniest way.

Checked in to room and dropped off our suitcases and left hotel to go shopping . When we returned to the hotel, we noticed a man coming out of our room . We asked him what he was doing in our room and he said he was the manager and they didn’t remember if they booked that room yet . Second red flag - a hour later , we are in the room and another family unlocks the door and walks in . They doubled booked the room . Had to go to front desk with the other family to figure out what was going on . Third red flag - went to leave the room to meet someone for dinner and the door would not lock . Front desk said they couldn’t do nothing about it and had no other rooms to move us to . We had to cancel our dinner date because we didn’t want to leave the room unlocked . At this time , we decided to leave the hotel and booked a room at the hotel across from this hotel . Once we asked to cancel our reservation, they now had a room they could move us to . We demand a refund and left this hotel . The hotel smells like pot in the hallway and our room . The rugs in hallway coming up and is a major tripping hazard . No hot water in bathroom . This hotel is a nightmare !!

I would NOT recommend this property to anyone!

I would NOT recommend this property to anyone! They advertised a local shuttle (3 mile radius) and based on that I did not rent a car. I was told this service did not exist...they only had a shuttle to/from airport. Front desk personnel were rude! Dirty linens and towels were lying in the hallway all weekend long. Bed was uncomfortable and air conditioning was very musty smelling. Bikers/road racing outside the property until 2AM. Never again!

Staff at this location were wonderful! From checking in to the shuttle drivers they could not have been more accommodating! My flight was delayed and I missed my connection. Booked your hotel and then called to ask if the shuttle could pick me up. Driver asked if I had eaten and suggested a restaurant. I should add that having a microwave and refrigerator In the room was great. Most hotels do not have both. I cannot say enough about how kind and helpful your staff was.

The website said this hotel offered shuttle service to the airport. It is called Candlewood Suites Syracuse Airport. There was no shuttle service available, but I wasn’t told this until after I had checked in. Staff made no suggestions for how I was to get to the airport except to say, “There are taxis in town.” I cancelled the room and walked across the lot to the neighboring hotel.

The girl at the desk was amazing and super helpful. She is a definite asset to the hotel. She goes above and beyond to help the customers. I am an 80 year old woman traveling alone and my legs are not good. She was kind and understanding to my needs. She definitely made my stay much more comforting.
