Very comfortable beds, which was important to me. The room was updated however still had quirks like the bathroom fan being on when the bathroom light is on and also very loud. We use a nightlight we brought instead of waking up the whole hotel in the middle of the night. Breakfast was what I expected and I didn't enjoy the scrambled eggs or bacon. I think both were highly processed as is typical.

Room was clean and spacious. Desk staff was friendly and helpful. Building was under reservation while we were there; it was obvious they are in process of making many improvements to update the property. Bed was comfortable. Breakfast buffet was great. Plenty of restraunt choices close to hotel.

If you're looking for value, this is it. The beds are comfortable, the motel feels safe (there are cameras in the parking lot), and the staff is friendly. If I'm driving through the area, I will definitely book this motel again.

Buffalo Bill's Scout Ranch was closed the day we were there...
Buffalo Bill's Scout Ranch was closed the day we were there (Sun.), but we were able to take pictures of the house and barn. Gold Spike Tower was nice to see all the Union Pacific trains/cars.

Because of Covid, many small businesses, including cafes, have left the downtown area and choices for breakfast (my favorite meal) are limited and clumped around the freeway. Overall, the impression of the town is pleasant, with many impressive older homes and businesses. Good medical facilities. Getting around is complicated by some one-way streets.

I got Great deal on 2 beds for the night.
I got Great deal on 2 beds for the night. The room was clean and staff had prepared for my arrival by turning on the heat, as it was below freezing. There was a mini fridge, large flat screen TV, ironing board, large cabinet dresser, a table and chairs and the shower was the best part of the whole room, as it includes wall jets for the lower back and neck. Check out is at 11, and the area was very quiet despite being on a main thoroughfare.

The outside is deceiving - don't let it fool you! Once you are in the rooms, they are very nice and comfortable!
The staff were very friendly even with our super late check-in and although we arrived to breakfast late, we were still offered coffee, donuts and bagels.
Great place and would stay here again if travelling through North Platte again!
The room was clean and well furnished. The hotel has a nice character that you don't get with a big chain including pleasant room decor and landscaping including a fountain. It's adjacent to a residential neighborhood and along the old business route instead of the interstate so it's not too noisy.
The hotel was clean and well kept. The breakfast was amazing, along with the breakfast staff!! The lady overseeing breakfast was so friendly and made our breakfast experience wonderful!!
