Rodeway Inn Waterford - New London, hotel in Niantic

This hotel is located on Interstate 95, at 11 miles from Mohegan Sun casino. The Lawrence & Memorial, Dana-Farber Cancer Center is one-half mile away.

We booked two room for our son and ourselves, breaking up a trip from Eastern Massachusetts back to NYC. Situated nicely in the middle, and very close to the many wonderful restaurants and activities in Mystic, the price was excellent for basic, clean, comfortable rooms.

    Room was extremely clean.

Room was extremely clean. Bakery just a few steps away that opened early (5AM) and also served coffee, etc was a nice plus. Room fairly priced and appreciated no extra resort fees like many accommodations now a days.

They gave me a room for handicapped, even though I booked a Double, but they gave me a small twin bed. It was dark and depressing, with the bathroom with no counter space and metal handles like a torture room. I had booked a regular room, but they have me the room they couldn't sell. I asked to be moved to another room, but they told me they were fully booked. Their was no internet services, I called tech support, but they were closed. The manager was super rude and I even made a video of how he was talking to me. NEVER AGAIN!!

Its a small beach town with a nice main street, offering a few restaurants and shops and public beaches right off the main road. Its a great location for families with little kids who don't want alot of large crowds and hard to access or expensive beaches

The Town of Niantic was warm, friendly and easy to get around in. Our B&B was located on the Harbor with the beautiful sight of the river and the docked boats. We had wonderful dinners at The Black Sheep and Dev's on Main. Our B&B, The Inn at Harbor Hill Marina was locateded just a short walk from the town's businesses and restaurants. The Inn had lovely grounds with plenty of places to gather, talk with friends and other guests and the staff. Everyone was very friendly. While in Niantic, we ventured to the Gillette Castle State Park and the Essex Steam Train and thoroughly enjoyed our time there. Can't wait to return and see what else is nearby.

Niantic is a quaint waterfront town on the Connecticut shoreline. There are a few great food options if you're into healthier fare, but the mainstay was pizza and fried fish...which looked really amazing! (but sadly aren't on my list of options right now) It was less 'beachy' than I'd imagined but definitely had a charm of it's own that I would return for.

Niantic is a quaint town that has easy access to many of the beaches in the area. Dinner was great at the Hibachi Grill/Sushi and pizza wonderful at Lilliana's. Traffic patterns and lights are a little funky while driving around but overall ok to get around. We visited Ocean Park Beach which was great, not over crowded and the pool is amazing. Just wish it had an actual boardwalk. Not many food selection besides the ice cream spot and a small cafe with not many options.

A very nice and well located hotel. The owner is very accommodating, flexible and totally friendly. Everything was available on site, such as beach chairs and beach carts. The room was very clean and the essentials were even disinfected. Many greetings to Marry-Ann...

Nice big room with a comfortable king bed at a decent price. We had lots of space and a futon, fridge, microwave. Great location walking distance to many restaurants and the beach. Would definitely recommend Niantic Inn and will return.

The breakfast menu was delightful , all you can eat of your choice. One suggestion the hotel should consider to change the menu after two or three days, anyways no complaints for a free breakfast, i was satisfied.
