This is our first time to Hartford we were there for a UConn Womens basketball event and tour of the campus. Walking into the lobby of the hotel I did smell cigarette smoke which was unusual but loved the cookies! Downtown Hartford was oddly deserted and quiet a little disconcerting esp since we came from NYC so not used to that. Loved the pool! Wish you had better rates since we'll be back for some UConn games at XL and Gampel. Room was comfortable and clean.

The staff was wonderful and friendly. Bed was comfortable.I like that they are suites so there is a place to sit instead of just the bed. It was also nice to have a kitchen with the refrigerator, microwave and mini stove.

This hotel is in need of renovation, the breakfast in the morning tasted old and reused. We couldn't get replacement towels because the washing machine broke during my stay. Also, it took four times to get keys programed to the room given and they still didnt work after the four time until the maintenance man re-program our door.

Nice room, pool and fitness center.
Nice room, pool and fitness center. No hot breakfast as promised when booked. I realize there is covid-19 protocol but there is no reason why the dining area can not be opened when everywhere else in town is serving food.I had to purchase breakfast at an outside location at 30$ per day x2. Don't tell me a plastic wrapped bagel or danish from behind the check-in desk is considered breakfast. First impression while I was checking in was bad, the staff was having a meeting in the lobby slumbering around on the chairs while people were checking in.

A surburban town with a major artery running throught it, the Berlin turnpike. Great High School, id bet most go onto college there.....99% nice looking suburban neighborhoods......Every restaurant, strip mall boutique, grocery-Stew Leanards, home improvement, is on, "the pike". THE POLICE ARE PATROLLING constantly looking for troubled drivers, more so than most towns, in CT. Keep vehicles at posted speed limits and follow the rules on the road and you'll never meet these folks. Id think it would be over 200K to own in this town.
