The continental breakfast was standard for that price range, coffee, orange juice, waffles, cereal and bagels/toast. The creamer options lacked in my opinion but they were sufficient. The manager was great, when I walked into the lobby to check in there was an older woman who's husband had left his wallet at a restaurant they had dinner at and she didn't know how to look up the restaurant on her phone. He offered to look up restaurants and call them for her to see if it was there and was really patient with her. The room was on par for the price.

There is so much to explore in New Braunfels, Greune Hall and the surrounding area is amazing, we could have spent 2 full days there enjoying music, food, shopping and lots of great people watching. We walked through a portion of downtown in the early evening and many shops were closed. The walk was perfect and very enjoyable. Texas BBQ is the food of choice and outstanding!

I love new braunfels!!
I love new braunfels!! I have been coming here for over 10 years for family vacation. I love the river, and how close everything is to the hotels(because it is a small city). I would definitely recommend coming here. I will say my family is not big on waterparks or amusement parks like six flags and spashtown, we much more prefer the river, camping, and walking around the parks. With that being said, if your looking for things like those parks, this might not be your cup of tea.

River is low right now and flowing pretty slow. About 4-5 hours from Landa Falls to the end when it usually takes like 2 1/2 hours. We found Landa Falls to be a rip off at 20.00 a person. If you have your own tube there are places charging less than 10.00. Do not go to Landa Falls.

we stayed at four oaks , deans den. It was amazing. we floated down the Comal twice and visited local shops in Gruene. The local food was amazing. I recommend Gristmills. the ribs were to die for.

The property was very clean and quiet. It says it is a 3 bedroom but it is only two with a pull-out bed in the living room, but that do not take anything from the property. Comfortable beds great property if we come that way again, we will definitely stay again.

Our vacation in New Braunfels was incredible! The hotel we stayed at was perfectly situated - all the attractions were easy to get to. And there were plenty of things to do on-site, like grilling up some delicious food for a barbecue and chilling in the picnic area. Oh, and the food! It was absolutely delicious - you can't go wrong with that. All in all, it was a truly top notch experience!
We had a great stay at the Wingate by Wyndham in New Braunfels. The pool was great for the kids and it was nice to have a gym room. Also, the breakfast was great, we loved the Texas-shaped waffles. :-) The room had a good size and was well equipped with everything.
