Hotel was great and location was great. Only issue was parking which was $40 per night and $50 if you wanted valet. I decided for $10 more valet would do but then the valet guy told me he was on his break and there was nothing he could do and disappeared! The parking service is not part of the hotel I was told but it sure could improve.

Avid Hotels have a good vibe, clean updated look to the rooms, and an excellent breakfast. This was a good location for visiting Nashville- a short drive up to the Opry, a good BBQ place where we ate twice (Edleys) just up the street, and easy drive in to downtown Nashville for the clubs, music row, and the Ryman. The free parking is a big value for a city where parking downtown is very expensive.

Renting a car for a couple days is very helpful getting over to Opry Mill mall and exploring that area. Being from the country myself, I found Nashville challenging to get around
Cane River restaurant had tough catfish and cod, Very disappointed. Cock of the Walk was closed so we ended up at Cane River.

We enjoyed the live music, the honkie tonks. We probably could of saved alot of money by not renting a car. If your hotel is centrally located you can walk to most venues. Parking prices were outrageous. There is a bus from the airport.

It's best if you stay downtown and walk to the nearby Broadway and other nearby attractions. Most are under a mile away.
Taking bus tours, especially the Big E Bronco tour are informative and fun.
Getting out to the Grand Ole Opry means planning way ahead and navigating a complicated parking maze.

I'm usually attending a concert at the Ryman when I visit Nashville. Lost of things to do and see, as well as lots of bars, entertainment and shopping. Take the tours. Visit the museums. See a concert. The crowds are huge. But overall, a great place to visit.

Great live music scene, great food and friendly people. 2 days is perfect for exploring and experiencing Downtown, and another day or two for exploring the various museumsn - Johnny Cash, Country Music Hall of Fame etc, and some of the surrounding areas like Music Row, The Clutch.

We were Christmas shopping and enjoyed Mistletoe Merchants, Opry Mills, Green Hills Mall, Nordstrom Rack and more. We ate at Saltgrass Steak House and it was wonderful! We also ate at Demos in Lebanon and the food and atmosphere was great! Would also highly recommend Sweetmilk for breakfast or brunch!

Seems like a new hotel, really clean and looks nice and modern. Great view out of our room to downtown Nashville. Well located in a short distance to town, but as two females we wouldn’t have walked home to the hotel alone at night - we got a taxi though so no real issue. Plenty of people about during the day to walk in to downtown though (15 min walk over the river via a pedestrian bridge). There is a lot of construction work around the site (for the new football stadium), but we really didnt notice any noise from this.
The room is very nice. Bed is really comfortable.
The hotel is also lovely with very accommodating staff, who are really motivated to look after you. The location is midtown Nashville - which is about 25-30 mins walk to downtown. It was perfect for us as we like to walk. Valet parking on site at $40/day. There are some restaurants close by.
The front desk staff Smith i think was his name was very friendly. Downtown Nashville is nice and the bus stop is just 2 blocks away from the hotel. Awesome location near the airport.
