The staff was very welcoming and kind. We booked our room on booking.com and we had no issues at check in. The room was very clean, and the water park was so much fun! Lot's of staff around to ensure all your needs are met. The breakfast buffet was incredible as well, and reasonably priced! There is also a ping pong table and an air hockey table available for use at any hour! We will definitely be staying here again!

Our room was comfortable and well laid out. The patio with direct access to our car was a bonus. We had a couple of suppers and several breakfasts in the on site restaurant and all were excellent. The staff at the Brown County Inn and in the restaurant were without exception, excellent.

The Iris Garden Downtown Cottages and Suites, hotel in Nashville

Located 30 km from Indiana University in Nashville, The Iris Garden Downtown Cottages and Suites provides accommodation with air conditioning and free WiFi.

The room was very spacious and nice. I loved the fireplace on the wall and the large very comfortable mattress. Means a lot! Ha ha ha the high ceilings made the room seem huge. I had a wonderful time. It was literally steps away from the center of town. Right in front of the room is the main road. I would recommend this place to absolutely anyone! You don’t have to get in your car for anything! It’s like being on a cruise in Nashville Indiana! Ha ha ha and Tanner and Josie are wonderful! Great place! Couldn’t believe the price. So affordable so glad I found it! They will definitely be seeing me again.

    Cool little town.

Cool little town. Crowds weren’t too bad but I’m sure it’s packed during the peak of fall. Nice restaurants and shops. Not as expensive as some other tourist towns like gatlinburg. Attended a concert at the Brown Co Music Center which was nice. It’s small enough that you can pretty much cover the whole town by walking. Parking was only $5 everywhere, but that may change on peak weekends.

Love the town of Nashville, especially the fall decorations.

Love the town of Nashville, especially the fall decorations. The town is just big enough to have lots of shops and restaurants but not too big where you can get exhausted just walking around. We love Brown County State Park and all the vistas. We took a wrong turn on a trail due to the markings and walked too long in the park. Recommend making sure all the trails are clearly noted.

Love Nashville. It's been a yearly trip for over 20 years. Nice, friendly people. So much shopping! Lots of food choices. And of course the park. Beautiful views. Several areas for picnics, play areas and relaxing.

We have 3 kids 9 yrs old and younger, there are several cool places to eat and things to see. However, it would be nice to go back without young kids and check out more of the shops and local artists. Little attention spans aren't great for that!

Little Nashville is a magical place.

Little Nashville is a magical place. It has art, food, shops, beautiful flowers. Lots of cool stuff!!! The Mexican restaurant is very good. Their pineapple and bacon quesadilla was very tasty. It's easy to find your way-a map of the town can be found in the Brown County pamphlet. The HobNob restaurant is also one of our favorites.

The Bird's Nest restaurant was SO good, we came back every morning and were never disappointed. Opens at 9 AM, closed Sunday. Most of the shops open at 10 AM, but some don't open until 11. Some shops are closed on Monday and Tuesday. There are shops from antiques to yarn, so everyone should be pleased. There's even a toy shop! You'll have a hard time choosing which fudge shop to go to, though. There are a few coffee shops, but the Chocolate Moose has ice cream too. I recommend the S'Mores and the Cookie Monster sundaes. It's at the edge of town, next to the gas station, right around the corner from Route 46. My only caveat is to use care when walking, as the old fashioned sidewalks are uneven in places and some curbs are extra high.

We liked the gardens the Hotel was set in and area around , unfortunately with the heavy rain we had we were unable to enjoy them . Having a balcony made it better, as we could sit out. .
