The gentleman that worked the front desk while we were there went above and beyond to help us with a flat tire, going so far as to give me his personal can of Fix-A-Flat and offering to put air in my tires in the morning before he left. If that wasn’t enough, he let us borrow his personal Deep Woods Off as we did not bring any. I really can’t say enough nice things about the staff.
The room was clean and quiet. Nothing fancy but everything you’d need and a wonderful view of the harbor and sunset.
Tried 2 restaurants. Dogpatch was gloomy and needed updating. Did not eat there. Earl E. Birds breakfast was not good. The hash Brown's were burned and gresy. The eggs were okay. The wait staff were the best part. They were welcoming and efficient.

We went on the Pictured Rocks tour.
We went on the Pictured Rocks tour. It was a very warm, sunny day and the view of the rocks was extraordinary. We particularly liked the captain's narratives! The Pictured Rocks Interpretive Center was really nice. We did go to some of the other stores but not as many as we would have wanted to! We ate at Foggy's restaurant. The food was AMAZING! The whole town appeared clean and everyone we met was very friendly.

Munising was a wonderful addition to our Michigan family...
Munising was a wonderful addition to our Michigan family trip. Pictured Rocks has many trails to explore. We did the shoreline cruise and the shipwreck excursion....both great. So there is much to do. Some of us even went swimming in Lake Superior. We had 3 generations of our family, and we all had a fabulous time. There were quite a few restaurants to choose from. We ate the popular white fish and even tried pasties which is a must to try. You should allow 3 days.

location great. pool clean and well cared for. could have benefitted from a good breakfast on sight,. Loved the stories of the ship wrecks on the wall. Loved the boat tour, water falls and the lake and the early am breakfast restaurant near by. Staff could have been more engaging and friendier but they were ok and did their job. How about a guest laundry? And the pool was clean, stocked and nicely maintained and it was open long hours. parking lot in back was ok but more lighting would have been a benefit. Anything could have happened in that parking lot and noone would have known it. Maybe a large and visable camera of parking lot with a sign saying it is watched. But overall a nice property with a great pool.

Our hotel location was great! Close to lots of places to eat, gas stations, Town & attractions. Very pleasant & helpful check-in staff. Fresh coffee provided in the lobby in the morning was a nice touch! Room was clean & comfortable. Thank you for a pleasant stay!

Munising is beautiful.
Munising is beautiful. We took the Pictured Rock Cruise - strongly suggest everyone do that. We did a lot of hiking so that we could see the falls up close. That was great for our family - ages 9-65 - but you do need to be in shape for a couple of those hikes. Dining is fabulous - every place we went to was amazing! Really encourage you to try the whitefish - even if you are not a 'fish' person. I am not a 'fish' person, but I loved every fish dinner I had (especially the fish Ceaser salad at Duck Pond). Fresh fish is so much better than any frozen product. We stayed at a hotel on the lake - best choice- the views are amazing. Take the trip - there is something for everyone!
As soon as we arrived we were greeting by the employee to check us in. She was so friendly and nice. She interacted well with our son which was the reason we were on the trip for his birthday. We are from Kentucky and have stayed in alot of hotels along the way and we will definitely recommend your place over other places we have stayed just for the friendliness of your staff.
The room was clean, updated & quiet. The room itself & the bathroom were very spacious. It was the 1st hotel that I ever stayed at that had Spectrum TV so it was easy to figure out the remote & it offered a lot of channels. The staff was very friendly. I would definitely stay again.
