Excellent value, had plenty of available luggage carts, plenty of parking. A bit “off the beaten path”, but well worth the effort

Our family recently visited Mt.
Our family recently visited Mt. Airy, NC, on our way to New Hampshire, and it was an unforgettable experience! As avid Andy Griffith fans, we couldn't pass up the chance to explore the town that inspired Mayberry.
Walking through Mt. Airy felt like stepping into a beloved TV show. The town is charming, the people are incredibly friendly, and the shops are welcoming. It was pure joy to see all the references and nods to Andy Griffith scattered throughout the area.
We would have loved to stay another day to fully soak in the atmosphere, but our schedule didn't allow for it. For anyone who loves Andy Griffith as much as we do and wants to experience a piece of TV history, Mt. Airy is an absolute must-visit.

Mt Airy is a must see town for Andy Griffith Show fans. Keep in mind it’s NOT Mayberry, but you can see the inspiration. The town and people are charming and the downtown is quaint. We took the trolley ride which is a must-do if you haven’t before.

The hotel was very clean, the staff was very attentive.it was dated.small stains on the carpet and a tear in the couch arm. It wasn't perfect but it was clean and comfortable. We slept well.good firm mattress. Air conditioning was fine. I would stay there again.the pool was nice
Breakfast was good enough. Small sitting area considering there was a huge group staying at the hotel but still nice and pleasant. Pretty place overall.
