We stayed in Sherrills Ford and loved the area- we went in October and the area is beautiful but there is a lot of development and traffic to 77 was a bit much especially for off season Plenty of shopping and grocery stores close by-Mountain Creek Park was 10 min away and it had a kids play area ,picnic area and pickleball courts along with hiking trails and an open building with restrooms and rest areas plenty of dining options off 150 but again,plan for traffic

A lovely, bustling and rapidly growing town. It is in fact growing out of its own road space. Rush hour traffic ads a lot of time to your travel. Drivers are considerate, extremely friendly and accommodating though.

Breakfast for 3 out of 4 days was horrible. No selection. Only white bread, no muffins, biscuits or bagels as I've come to expect at a wyndam property. Also no yogurt, or fresh fruit. I insist to be compensated. I paid for a reasonably decent breakfast, which my wife and I did not receive.

Open concept rooms. Did not like the Bonefish. We did Doordash the ppl delivered fast. The fish and shrimp was over cooked. I normally get Bonefish when I stay out but this particular one was not good. they could’ve just had a bad night at the restaurant.

I didn’t like the bed the mattress and pillows were to hard. The tv should have been updated the we’re older models. There was no ice machine on the property. I definitely missed not having a swimming pool. If so we were unable to find it. There was never anyone in the office to ask. Otherwise everything was good. I loved the privacy and being in the secluded area.

Beautiful town, every type of service available. Friendly people. Don't stay at the Baymont by Wyndham hotel. The minute you walk in it is dirty and has strong odor throughout. Pictures we looked at to select were very nice and it was a good value; however, it was a bate and switch. Not clean anywhere, service at night with check in was not friendly. Floors, elevators, hallways, were all dirty. In room the phone didn't work, missing light bulbs, previous guest towel was in the bathroom hanging. Ice machine didn't work. Customer service was fai at check in. Morning person was kind and stunned at the photos we showed her. She gave us the supervisor's name. The moldings of the walls in hallway were on the ground. Felt as if the place was completely neglected. We traveled 10 hours to get to NC and had an early morning appointment so we had to stay plus we had prepaid for the room. A big mistake. We had stayed at the Hampton in previously and it was nice. A few dollars more but worth it. We stayed one night thankfully on 8/16/20. Poorly managed accommodations.
