It's not Montpelier itself I liked -- although it seems fairly nice for the kind of small town it is --, but its location in the middle of a lot of lovely countryside (including Bear Lake), and proximity to National Parks.

Friendly people and many things to see an do. I ate at the truck stop, and a few other places. Getting around Montpilier was very easy and finding things to do was also easy. Oing to some of the other towns in the area was fun an had me on cool adventures. I think my favorite spot was the Califormia/Oregon center to learn some fun history.
